Yeah, but they give Bush hell for fighting a war that has left fewer dead GIs than any major war in history, yet JFK started one that killed 50,000 and he is a fucking hero because he was a Democrat and he got shot. I can't see where the Viet Cong were any more a threat than Saddam to the US.
We first started seeing US involvement in Vietnam during the latter part of the Truman Administration with each following President escalating things until Nixon. So, in other words, no, it is somewhat inaccurate to say that JFK started Vietnam.
Truman got us involved as advisors. Kennedy started us in combat roles and larger deployments. So it is accurate to say Kennedy started the Conflict, on the US side. China and Russia are the ones who truly started the War.
It is debatable just how much Truman got us involved in Vietnam. But, he did send members of the military claiming they were advisors. But, to state that Kennedy started Vietnam is not the most accurate statement one can make. He did escalate things as I stated earlier, so take that however you'd like, or put whatever spin you would like too.
"Entrepreneurs and their small enterprises are responsible for almost all the economic growth in the United States. " Ronald Reagan This I'll agree with . 70% last year.
fixed it for ya leadership is not a byproduct of a person's actions, it's an attribute that most good leaders have.
