Some Thoughts On The Rules...

I did not violate any rules, nor was I repeatedly warned to stop doing something as garamet was.

I don't ignore Kirk...but she started this crap by hounding the shit out of the fact Kirk wouldn't debate her and nagging and nagging him about it when he came back here. He eventually really got fed up with it...and who can blame him?

She bitched about it here for years, takes shots at his personality, how he is online as compared to in person...she has been as annoying and obsessed with Kirk as he ever acted with her.

And he didn't start out posting her full name everywhere, now did he? He used a diminuative and she would be retarded about it so he used her full name so she couldn't.

In all my years on the Internet, I've never seen anyone more obsessed with someone. This really has gone on for many years now. That's probably not a good mental health indicator.

Add to that the fact that routinely dismissed people simply because they were 'hiding behind' their anonymity.

Come to think of it, I don't recall ever saying anything here about being a record producer which tells me she's been crawling around websites looking for info on me.

But if anyone remembers me mentioning that, I'll retract that. I do smoke a lot of shit and may have forgot saying it.

Think of the various pictures threads posted in the Green Room over the years. Anyone's picture is fair game to use in the Red Room under current rules. I don't think this is OK. You, for obvious reasons, do. You have even posted my picture in the chatroom (this was a few years ago) after having acquired it from a private board and without my permission at all. You shouldn't exactly be the one to decide what is and isn't OK in regard to personal information, because you are the worst offender in board history who uses personal information as a tool for trolling people.

If she's talking about nothing, how does she get you to respond?


While sometimes she does just throw out snarky one-liners, garamet also likes to dissect the logic of an argument, or to fight over something she believes to be a critical point. It's not a style everyone appreciates, but it is a style nonetheless.

If you consider that trolling, then you must be very easily trolled.

I have numerous times asked her distinct questions, and instead of replying with an actual answer, she'll troll for 15-20 posts before finally giving in.

If I can't post anything personal on Wordforge without the risk that it'll be used against me (consequence-free) in the Red Room, why should I post anything personal at all? Why should anyone, for that matter?


Creating an atmosphere where it's dangerous to let your guard down isn't exactly how you nurture a friendly, thriving community.

Exactly the reason I've never revealed much personal information about myself or pictures of myself, beyond my general location and occasional highlights. I don't want nutjobs like KIRK or Poodle (or even Face ) then using that information to troll me or make my life feel threatened.

But what did bother me was pulling in Jack. That was low, ridiculous and shouldn't have been condoned by TPTB. It's one thing to rip a poster a new one, but another to talk about their sig others, children, etc. and say disgusting, insulting things about them. That's unclassy.

I don't have an answer for how to stop that and it may well be that WF feels that there needs to be freedom in the RR whatever the cost, but what makes the RR an interesting place to be isn't stuff like that.

It used to be that posters were warned for trolling family members who don't post at Wordforge. Then I think it was put into the "common sense" clause, and completely forgotten by Tamar in this instance.

Then she shouldn't have made such a point of letting everyone know that she was shacking up with Tal, in an attempt to further her credentials as a true insider.

After that, he became fair game, too.

Garamet was trying to create a sense of ethos and then rest upon that ethos when arguing. Thus character and personal life are fair game in dismantling whatever she has to say. And she touted Jack's demented board, so again, the sheer level of moonbattery over there became part of the discussion.

She brought this shit on herself, though her own unweening hubris.
