I have left TrollKingdom. Not that anyone besides me cares, but I'm bored and feel the need to type out something. It saddens me that TK has fallen to such a low state. What was once great has turned to crap. Full of crap posters who have NO idea what TK was really about. Its just sad. And I give up. I'm tired of wasting time there, throwing out ideas that will never happen. The BBS was at its most creative when Robl and Red Whacker were in charge. Let me be clear that it was MissManners and Sardy that destroyed TK. They managed to squeak by when people like Yo or Captain Decker were doing most of the work for them, but after they left things went downhill pretty quick. Sardy was lazy and incompetent. He couldn't figure out how to use or change any of the software so he just didn't try. Every good idea he ever had was stolen from someone else. I'm sorry to say it but Missmanners wasn't good for anything except writing checks. She was the ultimate silent partner. But when the creative team left she was pushed to the helm. Too bad she never had a single creative idea to steer the ship with. She just sat there. And the bbs just sat there. All the creative people left, the spam rolled in, and the bbs just sat there. Missmanners was nice but she should NEVER have been made top dog at a bbs she was only mildly interested in. So I'm gone.
Funny how people will spend so much time and effort pissing and moaning about places that they "hate." I've spent so little time at TK that my membership has probably lapsed. Why? Because there was nothing there that interested me. That's no knock on MM. She's got a board that entertains and amuses a certain group of people enough for them to spend time there. I'm not one of them, but so fuckin' what? If you speak up and try to help a board and it doesn't happen, for whatever reason, what's the point in publicly stomping out. I have gone for weeks at a time without posting here because I don't see anything that interests, but I don't see any point in telling off Elwood because things aren't the way I want them. If I thought I had an idea that would help things I'd make it. If I really "hated" the place, I just wouldn't come back. I've never been one to burn bridges in real life and I can't see any reason to do it on the Internet.
I've never been to that forum and don't think I ever will..but I'm tired of trollers in general. On youtube.com there is a place where you can voice your comments about a certain video. Well I voiced my opinion about someone from a reality show and another poster took that seriously and started putting me down, cursing me out and calling me these awful names just for having an opinion about a certain show..they told me to learn something from it. And then they come BACK and start dissing me again because I didn't respond to their comment. I told this person this: I chose to not reply to your comment because A)it's childish and B) I don't tolerate trollers or bullies. This person didn't even know how to spell the English language, let alone bully!!!! But I'm just fed up with people in the real world as well as on the internet. It's like talking to a brick wall!!! Anyway, thanks to anybody who reads my little rant..any comments or suggestions about posters like that would very much be appreciated.
So TK is planning a Glory Days Retro-Raid at TrekBBS, we can plan that in here and Bonz can't "get" us, right? mm
Exactly. And whether or not any TKer actually does anything, her mods can preemptively land on them on both feet, thus averting any potential havoc. It's kind of like Minority Report, except in this case, the Pre-Crime Unit is made up of uptight, self-aggrandizing Trek geeks. When is this raid going to happen?

Elwood explained it somewhere saying that he was banned a while back, but he deleted a bunch of banned accounts so he could reregister. So, he re-banned him and he can come back if he asks, just like anyone who is banned. Musta done that.
I think now he should appeal to the Help Desk for his propertie, his CaptainChewbacca username, to be returned to him.
I tried just going over to TK..and it's the dumbest forum I've ever been in! Most of the posters there spam all the time and troll to the point of insanity! And I can't stand bullies or threats..the only thing I will believe is if someone says they will shoot me and show up at my doorstep with a gun-proving the theory to be a fact.
TK is a joke, and not a funny one. A whole forum devoted to bitching about another forum, yeah, that's cool. To paraphrase the Shat, "Get a life". You're worse than the lamest Trekkie, spending your time harassing Trekkies. I eagerly await an invasion by all five of your regular posters
Well, neither TK or WF have primarily been for 'bitching about TBBS' in a long time. There was a time when there were actually some interesting discussions going on there. TK didn't fail because people bitched about TBBS. It just sort of sputtered out when some of the heavy hitters on the board ceased posting... And then there was the period when Soma and all his duals mercilessly spammed the board. I think its an okay board. But they don't really do any organized trolling anymore... which was kind of the point, initially.
TK needs a good invasion or scandal somewhere to kick it into gear again. T'Bonz needs to randomly ban MissManners or something and do some charity work. Come on, Bonz...give at the office.
Whenever anything is tried over there, they just say "Meh" and they stay their lame ass selves again.
