Oh please, who's going to call you and tell you they got their ass kicked? And as someone on the pulse of the Nashville bar scene according to my sources there were very few incidents of fighting after the game.

:rotfl: I love watching Anc and Elwood after this loss... it's very... telling. You guys need to take a lesson from Ash on losing with dignity.

I'm going to take a cue from them, even if Missouri beats us this weekend, we still have bigger penises. :j:

MSU has rightfully entered the top 25 :bergman:

The Iowa game last weekend was a bit too close for comfort, but at the same time, it was very reassuring. Dantonio has done a great job with discipline, and the Spartans are able to hang tough and finish. Last year, they wouldn't have managed to stay together through that game.

Next weekend, its Northwestern at Northwestern. Normally this team isn't too much to worry about, but they are 5-0 this year, and just off the top-25 list (AP).

Then, MSU is on to Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Purdue, and Penn State.

Tough schedule for the rest of the year, with only Purdue and possibly Michigan being "easy".

    Fights, no.

Beat downs, only a couple were needed.

After that all the Vandy dudes decided they'd rather work on their calculus homework when the Auburn dudes deboed their chick.

I did mail Scooter a "Roll Orange" Joe's shirt to taunt Bammers after OSU beat them a couple years back. :ramen:

I think we're going to have another shoot out this year. I'm thinking we need something other than a youtube vid as the bet. I don't have a video camera anyway. Perhaps a picture in the opposing school's shirt which you have to order with your own cash.

I'm going to the Mizzou v OSU game this weekend. Ought to be interesting. Hopefully the Tigers are not looking ahead to Texas, as I think they'll have their hands full already w/ the 'pokes.

The Top 6 have a lot of potential losses this weekend.
    1. OU -- somebody has to win this game between OU and Texas
    2. Alabama -- Easily the safest bet to win in the top 6
    3. Mizzou -- OSU is tough, if Mizzou looks ahead they could slip up and lose
    4. LSU -- Playing Florida at Florida is going to be tough, I'm picking Florida to win this battle.
    5. Texas -- somebody has to win this game between Texas and OU
    6. Penn St -- Looked like crap against a weak Purdue, Wisconsin will not let them get away with playing the way they did last week.

So there is at least 1 certain loss and 3 other potential ones... making way for Texas Tech to press forward from their #7 spot to at least #6 and possibly even up to #3... if we don't slip up by look 3 weeks out to the Texas game, Nebraska isn't just gonna roll over and play dead like A&M almost surely will next week.

No kidding. I'll put any amount of money down that Alabama will not lose this weekend.

Tony Franklin fired, less than 24 hours after Tuberville defended him and the new system... Auburn fans, your thoughts?

Personally, I'm torn. On the one hand, no new system implemented is perfect right off the bat, but when you can only manage a 3-2 score against Mississippi State... *shrugs*

I think he got off easy.

I'd have done the deed myself and claimed self defense. I dare you to find twelve people in Auburn that'd convict me.

Listening to Finebaum now. Amazing how he can rag on Auburn and be actively fellating Nick Saban at the same time.

Tony Franklin was successful at Troy.

Auburn just doesn't have the athletes.

Hmm...seems about right. I'd think the LSA/Florida game will be closer...3 point margin or less. Maybe 24-21 FLA.

Only 70 total points in the Mizzou/OSU game? Stewie Mandel of SI predicted Mizzou 49 Okie St 34. Either way, I think I'm seeing a shoot-out! :D

I predict that OU will beat Texas, but I am secretly hoping the Longhorns blow their wad this weekend and knock off the Sooners, then come out flat as hell next weekend vs Mizzou! :finger:

    oh, and K-State 31 A&M 17.

OU vs Texas: Too many people picking OU, Texas wins 28-24
LSU vs Florida: Miles big white hat 31- Gators 21
Mizzou vs OSU: I hope my Boys show up to play, but Mizzery will be too much, Mizzou wins 45-38

And for the coveted best of the worst game:

A&M vs Kansas St - Kansas State, 28-13

Oh, and Tech over Nebraska, 65-12, Raiders driving for the end zone on the last play of the game. :bergman:

The OU defense looked tired and slow during the second half. They came out with no energy, no fire. They made Colt McCoy look like Michael Vick.

And on an unrelated note, is the OU legislature ever going to wake up and realize that they're missing out on tons of money by continuing this Texas State Fair arrangement? Barry Switzer fought that battle for years without success.
