Tomorrow monring starts deer Season in West-By-GOD-Virginia. I plan to honor the day by shooting Bambi's mother through the lungs and heart and then harvesting her still-warm body for my table. I intend to turn Bambi into an orphen by noon. In honor of the occasion, enjoy a piacture of Bambi and his mother in happier, yet less tasty, times. And rejoice that there is a place for all of God's tastiest creatures on my plate, right next to the sweet potato and corn.
Year round as long as you don't get caught by DNR. It's actually buck season, but seeing as how Bambi's dad was never around ( he just knocked up Bambi's mom and then took off), I was going for the emotional payoff. Antlerless season starts the second week of Dec I think.
