Man, I'm disappointed with the internet, I can't find any of the songs I'm looking for. I mean, crap, does REM REALLY need any more of my money? And I must be the only person looking for Land of Confusion, who does Phil Collins think he's kidding - Just let us trade the music already! The music industry needs to be turned upside down and shook until all the money they've swiped from us over the years falls out of their greedy little pockets. I tried piratebay but I don't want a freakin 10 gigabyte greatest hit album. I just want one song. I tried that ninjavideo forum link someone here gave me but I couldn't find crap on that site. The internet is dying.
Um, Utorrent sifts apart the tracks within the torrent. Or, do you mean the album itself was ripped as one big MP3?
From my limited experience, when you go to 'load' the torrent (in my case with mu torrent) a pop-up offers a whole list of component tracks (I've only done it for the individual episodes of a tv season, not music) and you simply check the boxes of the pieces of the torrent you want to upload. But my proficiency is barely above novice.
yep. I use bit tornado. it allows me to select individual files, tracks, episodes to download... assuming the person who created the torrent did not archive the files first .
I had Kazaa Lite on my previous computer, and managed to suck in most of the classic rock I wanted. When I got my new Dell a couple years ago, Kazaa Lite wouldn't load! Something about the then-current version of XP. So I downloaded the newest version of Kazaa Lite and loaded it. Whenever I searched for a classic tune, I got a flag that said "This content may be copyrighted, so we won't download it." Well, THAT stopped being fun!
I found this last night. Worked ok. http://www.filestube.com/search.html?q=dave matthews crush live&select=mp3
I use Demonoid.com and I also use Pirate Bay. The program I use is called Transmission, but it's only for Macs.
Saw this on Attack of the Show... Pretty cool, no way to download songs though http://listen.grooveshark.com/
They didn't force you to buy the music. You want to pirate music, pirate music. But let's not pretend it's the music industry's fault. Legitimate, cheap, DRM-free music is out there.
