Garak is flat an asshole. I think he is a contemptible individual and a flat out liar on some specific things. He is also someone who frequents this forum with a goal of finding people here that he can target over in the neutered zone.

I think that some of Dayton's posts and threads over here influenced his permaban from the cesspool that Garak manages.

Unfortunately, unlike WF, Trekbbs isn't of the frame of mind that people need to know what takes place behind the scenes. But, it doesn't take much to figure out what takes place behind the scenes. It also doesn't take much to know what a downright shitty job people like you do Garak. It doesn't take a genius to know when rules are being enforced arbitrarily or that they aren't being enforced equally and uniformly either.

One doesn't need to be a genius to know that individuals like you really aren't worthy of being moderators given your prior history as a poster and some of the things you did as a regular member.

The problem Garak has over here is an inability to warn and silence those who question him, or the job he does over at trekbbs. Over there he is able to silence, or have silenced dissension. Unfortunately over here there is a huge amount of freedom which allows us to voice our disgust, or dislike of him and the job he does.

Even the moderators, hell, maybe the moderators more than most appreciate a place to say it like it is.

It's kind of sad that their own place can't be that place. As far as running a BBS goes, WF is a dream job, even with what issues we have they are really relatively minor in the grand scheme. When posters are down to making issues over the smilies, icons and HD thread lockings, it's pretty damn sweet overall.

Besides, deep down they know what a cesspool of mouthbreathers and fucknuts they have over there. It's the small core of decent, semi-normal folk they keep bothering for.
