When I delete things, they go into the Recycle bin. When I delete the contents of the bin, the contents themselves are deleted, but the bin still shows full.

    I say old chap......WTF?

That happens with my e-mailbox sometimes.

Maybe it's slow to update condition/status:huh:

Are you talking about the little graphic doesn't switch back to an "empty" look ?

On your desktop right ? Cause I have a stardock toolbar thing where the icon doesn't change and that's a whole other problem.

Just guessing but I'd say that since the recycle bin is two different images (a 'full' image and a 'empty' image) that somehow the 'empty' image isn't associated... eh... I don't know what I'm trying to say here, It's like a broken mouse hover on a webpage. Where you mouse over an object and instead of it changing just just get a red x.

Anyway, try right-clicking and changing to a different recycle bin graphic and see if that helps.

It's nice when you can get your knickers in a twist over an icon not updating :D

Next time, try going to the DOS prompt and type "FORMAT C:/".

    Works every time! :techman:

How full was your bin? Sometimes if the bin is really full it takes time for the computer to delete all the associated files from your hard drive. Give it a few minutes then try a reboot and see if that helps.
