I dedicated my meditation this morning to Tamar. There's usually a couple different chants that I chose from, and today I did an ancient Sanskrit healing chant.

I don't know if it will help as I'm not sure how much God/the Universe likes me right now -- but nevertheless, I wanted to send good thoughts her way.

Everytime I get home from the hospital I am grateful to be an Admin so I can thank all of you!

What an awful, miserable time and frankly, I still feel like shit warmed over, but at least at home instead of the institutional torture of the hospital.

Basically the short version is hypercalcemia and acute renal failure. I look like hell and feel worse but actually in some ways am making meteoric recovery...I was in ICU still yesterday morning after all. I had 4 blood transfusions and all kinds of replacement nutrients..I was severely dehydrated...pretty much...a mess.

Unfortunately they stuffed me so full of IV fluids that I gained like 30 lbs in water since last Thursday, I look like a bloated tool but I won't complain too much except maybe my screwed up back...but Zel ran to get the Oxycodone for that so tonight I hope to sleep and sleep and sleep!

Zel printed out the thread at various times and brought it to me to read in the hospital. Thank you so much for the wishes, laughs and caring not to mention the good thoughts and prayers I honestly believe help get me through this shit.

I love you guys so much...I really do and I am eternally grateful for you all!

Tamar, if your health situation does nothing else, it serves as a reminder to the rest of us not to bitch when we have a bad day or we get a flat tire or it is raining out and we wanted to go to the beach. Anyway, glad you pulled through again.
