Ducks Quacks DO echo, it's just that the echo dissipated very quickly due to the unique sound wave length of the quack, Mythbusters did it

    ^Nice

This list has been making the rounds for years now. I imagine most folks have heard all of these trivia tidbits before and know which ones have turned out to be less than true.

Maybe it's time to update the list?

The Heinz one is BS, 57 was selected as the numbers were important to the boss, and the whole x varieties thing was for marketing purposes alone.

    Did you know...

a number of U.S. airmen during World War II died of farts?

Intestinal gas expands several hundred percent in an unpressurized aircraft flying at high altitude.

Some of the first soldiers fighting for the Germans at Normandy were Koreans?

The Koreans had been captured by the Japanese in the Far East.

Some Koreans were then captured by the Soviets in skirmishes with the Japanese.

These Koreans were transferred to European Russia (so they had no hope of returning home) and forced to work for the Soviets.

These Koreans were then captured by the Germans during the invasion of the Soviet Union (and transferred to France, well away from the Soviet Union).

The Koreans were then captured at Normandy by allied forces.

MythBusters proved recently that this is untrue though the quack's echo is so faint and blends with subsequent quacks so well that you don't hear it.
