Some of the first soldiers fighting for the Germans at Normandy were Koreans? The Koreans had been captured by the Japanese in the Far East. Some Koreans were then captured by the Soviets in skirmishes with the Japanese. These Koreans were transferred to European Russia (so they had no hope of returning home) and forced to work for the Soviets. These Koreans were then captured by the Germans during the invasion of the Soviet Union (and transferred to France, well away from the Soviet Union). The Koreans were then captured at Normandy by allied forces.
MythBusters proved recently that this is untrue though the quack's echo is so faint and blends with subsequent quacks so well that you don't hear it.
