wow. Without MM the place has no hope. Time to just shut it down. She had her faults, but she was the only one who managed to just 'let everybody be.' Not an easy task at TK. There's always the temptation to ban this, warn that, give out so and so's info. What she did, she did well. The place will self destruct without her.
That's actually a good idea. Just offer to buy both domain names and point them here. Every extra bit of traffic helps.
I almost OP'd this thread myself. Went down to TK to ask MM if it was cool with her & she never replied to my post. I'd buy TK if I had enough greenbacks in my billfold. I perish the thought of Mike Darth Wong or Christian Hahn Sportbath buying TK.
Seriously? MM's permabanned many of TK's better latter day trolls, from Zodiac to CoyoteUgly, and deranged psychopaths like jack, too. If I win the auction, the ban list is going to get permanently cleared, registration will be fully opened once again, and the board will return to its libertarian roots.

I think my membership has long since lapsed. I did take part in a couple of book discussion groups with Number_6, but it never really captured my interest as a place to regularly post. Definite case of variable mileage.

Looking back on the history of that place; reading archived threads: TK ain't what it used to be. That's for sure.
From the four years since I've heard of TK's existence, I don't see much difference. Having said that, I admit that the debate threads tend to stay on topic more often than not, and without flinging poo at the other side. Moreso than the Red Room.
I already cut a deal with MM. I will own it as of 01/01/10. All bans will be cleared with the exception of Lover in Purple from EI and Elwood. They will be permabanned.
