:happythanks: :Pilgrims: :hungry: :carve: :carve2: :turkey3: :turkeyday:

Somebody had to do it. :ramen:

Some things I am thankful for:

My God, who has helped me through some pretty tough times over the years and by His Grace I sit here today. :techman:

    Being alive, it helps alot

    My family
    My relatively good health
My doctors and the insurance company who pays them
My animals, though sometimes I want to choke them to death

My van, without which I would be sleeping in a tent worried about critters

The sun, the moon, the rain, the stars above which provide life and wonder to us all.

There's a lot more but they slip my mind atm.

Last but not least, Ma Bell, who has carried my telecommunication needs for decades and are here now, today, to deliver this message of good will and best wishes to Wordforgers around the world.

Happy Thanksgiving ya bums, and to keep it RR, this wish of prosparity even applies to you cock gobbling anal retentive sunzabitchs too! :D

I'm thankful for my family and friends.

I'm thankful for the thousand smiles I have each day, and that frowns are few and far between.

I'm thankful for a world that is an unending source of wonder, and that I have had so many opportunities to wonder in it.

I'm thankful I live in a land where I can speak my mind without worrying about someone taking me from my home in the middle of the night in response.

I'm thankful for the potential I have, and I'm thankful that I can accept what I don't.

I'm thankful that I'm challenged and that I enjoy the challenge.

I'm thankful I can pay my own way and that I control my own destiny to the greatest extent I am able.

I'm thankful for my understanding of the world, and thankful that I've not grown so inflexible that I can't change my mind every now and again.

I'm thankful for Wordforge and the community here that I feel so connected to.

    Happy Thanksgiving, all.

I am thankful for many things. Just being in the half of the world that has fat people instead of the half of the world that has skinny people is something we all take for granted.

I won't lie, though. This year has really sucked and I'll be very glad to see it end in a month.

    Hopefully 2010 will be better.

I thank the lord that a bunch of white people conquered this fertile land and made it their home, so that my slave ancestors (Poles) could inhabit it and give my genius a chance to grow. I hope that this perfect nation will stop waging war like it was still the 17th century against brown people. You make us all look bad, so stop it and stop cheering for it, you traitors to true liberty.

LET'S EAT, I'm fucking starving. Next thread better give good recipes. Cranberry sauce is one fucking BADASS American invention if I do say so.

Cranberry sauce as in the jellied type in a can....?
My family like this bland version - but the best is the type with whole cranberries. It can be overwhelmingly tart, so of course sugar added as needed makes it awesome!

They grew cranberries where I lived in Wisconsin as a teen. I had an Ocean Spray farm about a mile from my house. Of course you could buy bags of whole cranberries in all the grocery stores and make them into whatever you want.

It's the only one I know (bland version,) but it's not a berry you'd think would make a good spread on poultry.

Wow, it was cold and wet and crappy and my entire family was sick.

But it was still nice to see everyone! And it was nice to pass out afterwards! LOL.

Hope everyone could be with their family and loved ones, or at least were making double time if you had to work! :D
