    There's fat, and then there's obese. Christina Hendricks falls between the chunky/fat category. It might be a stretch to say she's fat, but she certainly is a bit on the chunky side. I don't consider her obese. Rosie O'Donnell is obese.

    Question: Why isn't fatness or thinness just like any other physical characteristic that someone may or may not be attracted to?

    We all have people we're attracted to and people we're not. Sometimes it's based on various physical characteristics. There are women who are primarily attracted to tall men ... men who are primarily attracted to dark-haired women ... and so on. But a man says he's generally not attracted to fat women, and he's automatically a shallow pig?

    No, but it's because of everything else I know about him not his size.

    Anyone basing relationships primarily on physical characteristics is a shallow pig.

    A woman who avoids a good and decent man because he's short is just as shallow as the guy who breaks up with this girlfriend because she gained weight. And inevitably people like that end up with what they deserve. :shrug:

    I'm married to one. She is larger now than when we married, but she's still the same person I fell in love with. Heck, I'm bigger now than then, too. Weight just isn't that big an issue when trust, respect and love are involved.

    As for the whole "dating / marrying a fat woman" thing, let me be honest. If she is intelligent, confident, has a great sense of humor, and likes to fuck like a twisted-kinky mink, it can go a long ways. God knows that I'm no super model. Yeah my wife and I have managed to pack on some pounds since we were married, but I still look at her with the same adoration and lust today that I did when I first saw her when I was 15. So who the hell am I to disqualify someone for being fat?

    That is because you are a woman of refined and exquisite taste.
