    Many folks have heart trouble, and most everyone has a relative who died from heart failure. Yet discovering you have heart trouble before it kills you is huge. Of course I'm not privy to your condition but I see no reason to not be optimistic. :)

    Ah man; you're one of UKForge that I really want to meet someday. Hope things go well - one of my cousins went with a faulty ticker for 16 years (literally, he had half a heart).

    I hope you've got as much life left in you as wit that you've got on the boards; we'll have a pint one day no doubt.

    4th spot duly earned :)
    Although judging by the late nature of the goal I doubt it did yer ticker any good :)

    Im glad spurs got it, I hate to see someone roll in and quickly try to achieve success just by throwing money at it.

    A close friend of mine has a very rare and always fatal condition, for which there is no cure. He was given a maximum of two years to live.

    That was 20 years ago. He still has it, and it definitely has its downside, but he is still with us.

    Here's hoping that your situation can turn out to be at least that positive, if not better.

    Hey Chup, I am sorry to hear about your condition. Why not give us the details? I'm dying to know. (...too early? :wtf: )

    Personally, I don't think you'll die. Only the truly good people die young, and you're pretty much a cunt. (but a lovable cunt at that.) Generally, bitter old guys outlive us all. So I expect you'll have a long life and be able to curse our great grandchildren to get off your fucking nursing home lawn.

    My thoughts and prayers are with you, limey.

    Its heart related, I don't want to into details simply because its not my style to give out medical info. I find that when people give out medical info everyone on the board turns into a doctor!!

    Such sweet words. :techman: ;)

    If it's not your style to give out medical info, then yeah, that's a personal preference. But if it's not your style to give out medical info BECAUSE people turn into doctors, well, then I'd kindly point out there are actually two actual doctors on this board who might be able to help. (Alphaman and Hooooood) And another one who probably studied medicine at least somewhat before becoming a doctor of teh teeth. (Robotech Master)

    Recently, my uncle had a triple bypass. He turned out fine. There is a lot they can do with the heart these days, and unless you have some weird flesh eating disease or something, I would bet money you will live.

    You've had enough Americans telling you to keep a positive attitude, so to balance that;

    If you want to be a miserable git, be a miserable git. Do whatever the hell you like, you've earnt it.

    And more importantly, see how much free shit you can get for it.
