I mean, yeah! Everything would be hunky dory. It would be MUCH different than Obama's reign. P.S. I'm an informed, intelligent American voter.
I'm glad he didn't win, the donkey faithful assured me that had he been elected he would've died on inauguration day and Governor Palin would've taken over. They went on to explain that any parent of young children has no business being in the White House. So I'm glad Senator McCain is alive and kicking, though it's interesting to speculate how the veteran, and former POW would've honored Memorial Day.
The same things that kept McCain from exciting the conservatives would've kept him very moderate in governing. Why would we expect him to change into something he's never been just because he was elected POTUS? Interestingly enough, IMO, those same things kept him from being elected in the first place. Note it was only the prospect of Palin and a real move to the right that got him into the race at all.
What Bock said. That said, I do not think McCain would have driven the debt up quite as high or as fast as the quack currently occupying the WH. His foreign policy would also have been a damn sight better than bowing before foreign kings and giving deadlines to foreign powers that everyone knows you have no intention of enforcing. Obama has made the US the laughingstock of the world. No one takes us seriously anymore.
Sometimes degree is very important, J. I still supported McCain and I'm glad to say I supported GWB. They certainly weren't perfect but they were a lot better than the alternatives.
In all honesty: It's good that Obama won. Otherwise, everyone would be saying shit like "Oh lord, if only we elected the savior - there would be peace on Earth and unlimited energy and we'd be colonizing the moon. But no, we elected McCain, and everything went to shit. Where is my Obama?" I hope Obama's reign serves as an educational experience to blacks, that being a corrupt twat is not limited to being white. You know it, but don't want to say it, because IT'S HISTORIC!
Re: I sooo wish McCain had won Ha ha. Is it true you are a woman over 50 and your life is behind you? And I am a reckless male who holds the entire planet as his oyster? Or are you speaking as a brainless Leftist twat (as opposed to the brainless Right twats here, I won't deny some of those lurk here), and just waiting for the moment Obama will open the stars to over-the-hill, boring, dispensable cobwebbed-in-the-cunts women you represent? P.S. Was that grammatically correct? P.S.S. I don't care! But I would like to flame you some more.
Oh, no. Just mothers. It's perfectly fine that Obama the Dad is in office with children...but if a woman does it without a D after her name, then it's child abuse and neglect.
You can over-inflate examples of sexism against Palin just as any Obama supporter can over-inflate examples of racism against him.
Based on how McCain handled the dow drop I doubt things would be different. His solution was to suspend his campaign, fly back to Washington and vote along with the bailouts. Conservative voters really had no choice in that election.
People didn't object to Sarah Palin because she was a mother. Do people actually believe that? The woman's not intelligent and because of that people were terrified to put her a heartbeat away from the presidency. It's not because she had young children. Unbelievable. John McCain could have picked a far more qualified female candidate as a running mate.
