I have gotten into miniature war gaming lately, so I've been painting alot, and honestly,it's turned out pretty well anyway, a friend talked me into setting up a deviant art thingy to show them off so http://seifirosu.deviantart.com/ if you want to see more for now I have about 20 models done and 40-50 more to paint
Here's a few SW miniatures I customized/ repainted back in the day: McQuarrie Style Jedi and stormtrooper Droid repaints Customized 'Legacy' era Sith
Customized swoop (I cut off and repositioned the fins, and repainted it) Sanji Deskal and Ottr Gent, from my own version of EP 1 Customized Darth Wyrlock (Legacy era)
Rebel Agent Winter Mirax Terrik (Rogue Squadron books and comics) Corran Horn as Keiran Halcyon, and Baron Tagge from the old SW Marvel Comics
Man, you guys are hardcore. I should post some of the customized minis I've been making for my D&D game.
heh, looks like you were waiting for an excise, Marso and I'm not really hardcore, I just got into a war game and my evenings are free to paint
here's the Ashlynn I've been bitching about for a while and THIS angry bastard is Molik Karn quite possibly the nastiest unit in all of Warmachine/Hordes
Really impressive work guys. I can't paint worth crud. LOL. But I've been getting into starship minis lately. This includes figuring out a way to get some ships made for Star Wars that no one else has ever made, which is cool. Shapeways will make real products out of 3D models, and there's lots of fan mods out there with 3D models out there for various starship games, so I put the two together (with about 20 hours of manipulation in various rapid prototyping programs) and ended up with some cool minis. Here's some pics of a battle I ran recently at a local gaming con: By null at 2011-02-06 And here's the minis shipped from Shapeways: That's a Scimitar Assault Bomber, Lancer Frigate, and Carrack Cruiser from the Thrawn Series.
