I was putting something together about why The Obama will win in 2012 when I saw this, and I think it really summarizes the bottom line of what that thread would have said:

    People are fucking idiots.

The 'Blame Bush' strategy has always been a win. If you repeat something enough, your supporters will act like a dumbass domino effect. These are the parasite and moocher classes that have put Barack Obama on His throne because they were gullible enough to believe that he was going to put gas in their cars and take care of their needs. Of course they will run with it! Thinking on their own isn't their forte.

Who cares if he's been 'rulling' for 3 years now? Who cares if the national debt goes up $1.72 TRILLION a year under The Obama? Are you aware that it went up an average of $607 Billion a year under Bush? That bastard! So what if GDP is 100% under The Obama! It's all because of Bush policies! No drop in unemployment? No worries! Bush lied and people died! Derp! Did you hear about all those wars Bushco started? Did you know The Obama is a Nobel Peace Prize winner?

The solution is simple. We must reelect our first black president at any cost! He just needs 4 more years!

America... we had a good run.

If people think there isn't going to be huge negative impact on our countries economy given the irresponsible spending spree our government is on then they are getting what they deserve with Obama and our Congress.

How does a large deficit hurt the economy anyway? I'm sure they're both terribly interconnected somehow, but how does the former affect the latter?

The Blame for the banking collapse and the credit crunch is in the laps of the last 3 or 4 presidents at least.

Extremely large deficit brings fear and uncertainty into the market, both globally and locally. People and businesses invest less and hold onto cash as they're afraid of the future and things like the recent downgrade. It also hurts the dollar on the global market.

Well, of course the whole mess started under Bush, but I fail to see what good it does deciding who to blame.

This mess started long before either Bush. It's reached peaks and valleys during various admins.

I love how a lot of these people say "it's out of his hands" in reference to Obama but they sure as hell weren't saying that when Bush was president.

    Sokar hates "bush"

Since we know you consider any woman over 25 a "hag," here's one for you:

I tend to think of the response to 9/11 as a starting point for the current enormous wastage of funds and materiel. Billions dumped into Iraq, billions dumped into Afghanistan, Billions wasted on feeling us up at airports, billions wasted...

Ah, if only the FBI and the CIA had been able to set aside their turf wars long enough to pay attention to those foreign nationals attending flight schools with no interest in learning how to land. If only someone had taken those warnings from Mossad seriously...if only, if only...

In football, at virtually every level, a good rule of thumb is that a new coach has three years to turn things around.

It doesn't matter how bad a shape the program was when he took over, the general conventional wisdom is that it should start showing noticeable improvement within three years.

Seems to me that the presidency should be no different.

We're in the third year of the Obama presidency.

I remember an argument on FoxNews where the pro Obama people were arguing strongly that Obama "needed time" to fix the economy.

When an anti Obama person suggested "How long? Six or Seven years?" the look on the pro Obama people faces clearly suggested that they thought Obama should be given two full terms before being judged on the economy.

    True enough. For example:

    1. Birthers. Haven't heard much from them lately, have we? What about that book that Drudge was hyping on his site a few months ago? You know, the one with all the massive reveals that would blow the Obama presidency out of the water? I wonder what happened to that?

    2. Obama will take our guns away. Yeah, remember all that hysteria from the gun community in the run up to his election and the immediate aftermath? Obama was going to ban the guns, or so we were told by the retailers and the gun show crowd looking to create a feeding frenzy that would line their pockets with profit.

Funny, no jackbooted Obama thugs have come to take my guns.

    3. Obama is a socialist. No, he's a centrist politician who wanted to pass health care reform, which immediately made him public enemy #1 of the commercial insurance industry and their conservative politician lapdogs.

I suppose all those moochers and parasites should vote for Bachmann next year, since she's promising $2/gallon gas. The oil industry, which has been raking in record profits for several years, won't take kindly to that. No sir, not one bit. :bergman:

Or maybe they need to vote for Perry, based on his Texas record of being in office during a spike in minimum wage jobs. Those moochers and parasites can flip burgers for McDonalds. Minimum wage won't take care of their needs, but at least they'll have a paycheck and some shitty bare bones health care coverage that McDonalds is only providing because they're being forced to.

Point is, all politicians promise things to voters, not just Obama, and not just Democrats.

In America, a "centrist politician" does not impose a federal controlled health care system on all Americans.

We already had "federally controlled health care" systems in America before Obama you dumbass. They're called Medicaid & Medicare.

Wow! You really are wholly ignorant on damn near every subject. The Taliban didn't exist during Reagen's Presidency. They weren't created by Pakistan's ISI until the early nineties.

Created out of what? Adam's rib? Are you just playing simple-minded, or are you really going to argue that there were no warlords fighting the Soviets and funded by the U.S., among others, until God reached forth his hand and said "I hearby name you 'Taliban'."

Stick to advocating the murder of children. You're good at that.

And make sure to post your little smilie and "This is what I see." You're good at that, too.

So when the voters don't agree with you, they're fucking idiots?

    Sound elitist.
Something like "ghoulamet" or "pedoray" or "kikeymikey," you mean?

    They certainly will. :borg:

The more Islamist factions of Afghanistan's population. The factions which didn't deal with us infidels. The ones who were funded and supplied by their fellow Muslims in the Gulf States.

Unlike you I'm acquainted with the facts.

No I'm stating the fact that the Taliban did not exist until the early 1990s. Then again you think all brown people not only look a like but think a like as well. With that kind of handicap I can understand how you would have trouble keeping the vagaries of geopolitics straight.

My but you really can't stand to be shown as the completely ignorant ass that you are.

I'm good at schooling your ignorant racist ass. :riskydance:

In other words, you've got nothing, except a belief that there's a "correct" way to spell a transliterated term.

Except that if you'd been even marginally civil, I'd have provided you with the information you may or may not have been interested in.

I'm fascinated by people who think they can say "Fuck you, answer me!" and get positive results.

Whereas what you're doing here is temporizing because you're not sure of your facts.

Now, if you can manage to remember the manners your Mama taught you, and provide evidence of your claim about the Taliban, I'll steer you in the direction of the correct Dr. Gopalakrishnan.

I suspect you'll just continue to play games, though. Surprise me.
