Those that feel the same way about this company and franchise can start saving for the new PC to run it now...

Those that don't care are dead to me.

I just ordered The Infernal City, which is "canon" for the events between the Third Age (end of TES:III and TES:IV) and the coming of TES:V.

A little history that should be dealt with in the book:

Since I can't save to get the computer to run it, I'll get the inevitable console release.

Unfortunately Bethesda Softworks is really a PC gaming company.

Yes, they have released some stuff on consoles, but its on the ole' PC that their games really shine.

I just updated and downloaded a bunch of additional content for Morrowind (release date 2002) that makes it almost like playing an entirely new game, there's so much user-generated content on the PC that I'd feel short changed playing on a console.

I know this, but I have always been a console gamer and have no way to afford a PC at this point or even relatively soon.

Pft, admit it, you only use the PC version for the mods that remove the underwear from the female body models :P

Oblivion is set up on xbox and ps3.

I do pc versions because I like most of the mods too.

Elder Scrolls is one I plan to get started on sometime in the not too distant future. I've heard a lot of good things about it and figure it's probably time to give it a go.

I'm getting it for the 360 anyway, but since the exclusivity is only for 30 days, I'd hardly call that getting shafted. Now if the DLC wasn't hitting the other platforms at all, then yes, they'd be getting screwed, but as it is, whatever.

XBOX can suck a bag of dicks. This game will rock far harder on PC than the XBOX, and the community mods (as always) will outshine the DLC tenfold.

I dunno man, I've tried to play both Morrowind and Oblivion on PC, and couldn't get into them, but have played the living shit out of both on Xbox. Never really cared for mods, and the interface on PC is far from intuitive for a dedicated console gamer like myself.

Dude... It's not going to be released after the first 30 days. More like 60 to 90 days... PC & PS3 users will have to wait 90-120 days for new content.

    That's shitty.

I wish we still had access to our old WF threads.

I started a Morrowind thread back in 2004 that got plenty of activity. Don't know if anyone else remembers it.

We posted screen shots, shared our adventures, and traded mods.

    :(

I can't imagine playing a game like this on a console.

Western style RPGs have always been more at home on PC with mouse and keyboard.

I played Oblivion a LOT and Morrowind to death.
I still say Morrowind is the best computer game of all time.

The DLC is only a timed exclusive. No big deal, IMO. I find companies nowadays give certain exclusives to one console, then eventually give something different to the next console. It evens out in the end.

Can anyone recommend some good Morrowind mods? I am thinking of firing up that game again, but with mods.
