"Personally, I'm into both AM and FM DXing, especially with ULRs barefoot, but I occasionally chase TA and LA DX with my Twin Coil or Select-A-Tenna at SSS. Recently, I added several graveyarders to my log. During the last Es season, I caught several new states via e-skip and even tropo backscatter. I'm really annoyed at the new influx of AM-on-FM translators, where the daytimers are trying to stay on longer." Translate that...if you dare!
Oh man, I'm having trouble. I'm a new regional editor for a FM DX database site and we are having a discussion whether to list a FM station's COL or actual xmtr site in the log. Do we list their RDS? What about HD-2, HD-3 and HD-4 subchannels? My XDR-HD1 doesn't list PI codes so I'm worrying about that. Yeah, we can all throw around "tradesman terminology" to impress the Great Unwashed Masses out there. The military and government are famous for speaking "in code" to keep outsiders "in the dark". But the rest of us can also spread that same manure if we set out minds to it.
XYZ PDQ. Actually, it sounds way cooler to take the extra step to translate the shorthand to military alphabet lingo. Like...Whisky Tango Foxtrot.
Am I required to use Bing or Google? Also do I have to type anything else in the search box? And do you have any previous posts from months ago where you listed all that stuff and expect all of us to have that specific post bookmarked? I didn't bookmark it.
Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.
