    ... you start doing some chores or whatever and then you find that you've cut yourself and can't for the life of you remember how it happened or even can imagine that anything you've just been doing could have possibly resulted in a cut.

    I hate that.

    Yep. I was just throwing out some old bad food from the fridge and then went outside and played with the dog, then came in and washed a dish a two.

    I'm still not seeing how I could have gotten the cut I got.

    And then you get blood all over whatever you're trying to clean.
