....yeah, if I can manage to believe a bunch of bullshit about "God and country", or "being a good citizen", or "being part of something bigger than myself", that isn't objectively true.

As much as I want to kneejerk with the obvious and oft-used comment about your job experience, I find myself leaning more and more towards towards that mentality every day since February 2, 2010.

But that being said, I've found ways to make the remaining year I have here in [-]Japan[/-] 7th Fleet more tolerable. Namely, by not spending all my time dwelling on what sucks about being here and spending more time focusing on myself...and if you can find a sense of peace here--or any military branch that isn't the Chair Force--you can get that working in any civilian job.

That, and also not giving a fuck about every little dumb shit someone says works too. :)

I live by that. Do your best not to hate your job and don't gripe with others. :techman:

The unhappiest job is the job you don't want to have. There are happy sanitation workers and miserable CEOs.

Christ.. you are such an obvious cliche.. do you have a thought or is all this rebellious dogma you perpetrate. the best thoughts you have

... you never speak anecdotally.. like you have no life experience

get out from under the covers.. go open the shade in your cellar window and take a peek out there.. people are having a good time interacting with each other and not "buying into anything".. they/we are living.....you asshole!!!
