I have been hit by a car while walking. The first was at work, fully documented, it was not my fault I swear! Although it could have been avoided. Today I was at the coffee shop, and walking in the parking lot, my usual 2 feet behind cars and a car backs into me! WTF. But I didn't really realize what happened, and I just kept walking into the coffee shop. About 20 minutes later I see marks on my arm and realize I didn't get a lic plate or anything. Dangit. But I think I am okay, a little sore, but not too bad. Is it okay to post this here-or is it supposed to be in that other room?! Have you ever been hit by a car as a pedestrian or while riding your bike? Don't tell me if you ever hit someone, it will make me a little mad-although I have had pedestrians walk in front of my car-not at a cross walk-and that always makes me mad because wtf I don't want to hit a person! I did not have my cell phone on me. It was in the car. How about the driver-what do you think they were doing? Plus-did I not say that I always walk at least 2 feet behind vehicles in a parking lot-yeah I might have been a little distracted for a moment by something-it was a nice day, maybe it was a bird or a squirrel, they would have been at fault.
I don't think your skills are that low. You've got enough skill at breaking things that she would have been smashed to bits.

I hit a car in a parking lot while riding my bike when I was a teenager. T-boned him in the door. I fell down and he kept going. Not sure he even noticed.
Had a head-on collision while on my bike when I was a kid. I was racing another kid and I turned my head to see how far ahead I was. Heard a "beep", and the squeal of breaks, then BAM! Broke the cars front window with my head. My dad made me pay for the windshield too...
