    I loved playing this kind of music when I was in a pops orchestra. Never mind those snobs who only think some obscure Mahler's hour-long funeral dirge in b-flat is the only worthy orchestra music; this is the kind of stuff that is fun for both the musicians and the audience. People would get up and dance at our pops concerts; at the other symphonic stuff they'd often fall asleep.
