Once I ate KFC's popcorn chicken everyday for a week. Good googly moogly, I will never do that again. I was ripping some out that would gag a maggot, and about 50-60 times a day at the end of the week. Best fried chicken I ever had was out of some dirty, grease stained hole in the wall in Harlem. It was one of those areas where the whole street just looked worn out. It took me and my brother a few hours to find it. We started off wanting some fried chicken and were going to get some from a KFC. But then we decided to go to Harlem figuring it had to be good there. So after getting a leg from a few places we found the best ever. But I do make a pretty awesome fried chicken myself. I mix the breading myself, and then use the side burner on the grill to fry it in a wok using shortening.
Publix has a deli and sub shop inside. They have better subs than Subway, and they have fried chicken by the pound.
Not to mention Publix is completely employee owned. They give great benefits to their employees which is why 9/10 you will get awesome service.
Well, this is a gas station in a town of less than 8,000. There's a hot foods and a deli inside. In fact, the gas station is almost like a grocery store. You can even buy ground sirloin and cut steaks. Go in, get a couple pieces of fried chicken, a side of mac and cheese, and a handful of potato wedges, and it's $4, and the chicken is good, though I love the potato wedges.
Best Fried Chicken Chain: Popeye's (There's none close to me ) Bojangles (Almost as good as Popeye's & great biscuits too) KFC (not Kentucky Fried Chicken, that shit was great) Grocery Store Deli Chicken (Around here, Publix is best) That shit you get from the Amoco (Late night desperation) ... Church's 'Fried Chicken' (Greasiest, nastiest shit you'll ever eat)
