'kay, here's the deal.

The Obama administration fucked up large in regard to Benghazi.

And then they lied about having fucked up during election season.

Know what happens if you fuck up at work and then lie to your boss about it?

It's a shame he's not intelligent enough to pick up on who actually got him fired.

This is a major cover up on the part of the administration because they did not want to admit it was a terrorist attack when they knew from the get go it was. They also did not want to send forces to try and help if possible for various political reasons. The President after being told about the attack was in all likely-hood sleeping because the in the morning he got on Air Force One and flew to La's Vegas for a fundraiser. It would be too embarrassing to admit that POTUS was sleeping while one of his ambassadors and others were dying.

On top of that it is believed that the Ambassador was there to set up shipments of weapons from Libya to Turkey and from Turkey to the Syrian rebels. (which explains why the ambassador had been meeting with Turkish officials during the previous weeks)

There is now Geraldo Rivera saying that sources have told him that the real goal was the Ambassador trying to get his hands on handheld surface to air missiles from around Libya to ship them to Syrian rebels.

Either guns or missiles, the Ambassador was trying to get stuff sent to the Syrian rebel forces.

This is why they've done so much tap dancing on the issue.

However it's not enough to impeach Obama let alone convict and remove him from office. This is his Iran-Contra scandal. That's all it is. Short of something major being revealed there is no way he gets impeached or convicted.

There is no law requiring him to send forces into another country to attempt a rescue. It might be an asshole thing to not do it but it is not illegal.

Now this scandal will cause some heads to roll. The Democrats are already starting to run away from Obama in fear of what will happen to them in the mid-terms. Those in front of Congress who lied, especially Hillary Clinton can kiss their futures goodbye.

I can already see the commercial. She doesn't answer the phone at 3 AM and then lies about it to the American people. And that's coming at her during the primaries......

There is some wild speculation now that some of the reason this is being pushed is because her two possible rivals for the Democrat nomination John Kerry and Joe Biden want her head chopped off before she even has a chance to jump in the race.

Oh and they don't want to admit that they scapegoated some dupe in California by blaming him and his stupid video for the attack.

That man is still in jail. The charges, violating his parole, may be valid but he was done "dirty" by the administration.

The talking points were changed 12 times before Susan Rice spoke on the subject. They knew from the start it was a terrorist attack.

It wasn't a riot over a video. It wasn't a bunch of guys strolling down the street who decided to attack.

The President isn't going to be impeached by this. He's going to be crippled however through out his 2nd term.

The real goal is probably, figuratively of course, separating Hillary's head from her body to ensure she can't win the nomination in 2016. That's a John Kerry/Joe Biden production.

Not that the explanation given to the American people -- i.e. the Obama Administration's bosses -- was changed from the truth, which happens to be politically inconvenient to the Obama Administration, to a complete falsehood that wouldn't damage his chances for reelection. That's not it at all.
