Any one paying attention to this? I am trying to keep up with all of the product announcements and am having a hard time. The sources are all from different companies. I wish there was a concise daily bulletin / email of the days announcements.
Sarah Palin At NRA Meeting: We Must 'Stand Up And Fight For Our Freedoms' NRA Meeting Begins In Houston Following Background Check Bill Failure
More trolling...... And of course nose in the air denials that one is trolling..... You guys are really turning into one trick ponies.....
NRA executive VP Wayne LaPierre accuses gun control advocates of exploiting tragedies while simultaneously asking "How many Bostonians wished they had a gun two weeks ago?" No guns allowed at the NRA Annual Meeting
Rick Perry is apparently getting heat for a target practice video used to introduce him at an event. The firearm he used is apparently of a similar style (though different caliber) as one of the weapons used in the Newtown shooting.
It's kind of pathetic that you are so bothered by uncommented facts as to see trolling in them. Is there something about these facts that makes you uncomfortable? Would it be better for you if these facts didn't exist?
Sounds like a business opportunity. 1. Get list of all manufacturers at show. 2. Follow their twitter/email lists/etc. 3. Create daily report of all announcements. 4. Post list all over relevant social media - following. 5. Next year accept money to move products up list. PROFIT!
Yeah that's the problem. Some companies just aren't using social media so it's harder to track the new announcements. OTOH being on site to collect the data and then announcements is always an idea. Having said that #5 is the problem with all of the firearms magazines and many journalists in the industry and why no one really pays attention to them at all.
Hey how come your list conveniently leaves out all the folks from Chicago and not just the smattering that you listed? Ya know the place with the level of control you want which doesn't make a difference anyways? Nice try but no. Sorry in both Sandy Hook and Boston your side jumped on the politicization bandwagon first. The NRA and other groups wait a month before making a statement about Sandy Hook. For Boston is was the day after that the cries of "gun control" could have prevented this from the likes of Bloomberg. Again the NRA didn't make their statements until the day after :retard: Hey moron, look at the link you posted to again a little more closely. Hint it was from last year, not this year. This year there was no prohibition. In any case in your example from last year amazingly enough shows how law abiding citizens will follow the law.
I didn't realize flaming was allowed in this forum. So much for a civilized discussion, you clearly don't want to have one.
Please..... What's pathetic is that you think that Garamet, whose trolling constantly on the gun issue, just happens to pick Sarah Palin who is attending the function and Erica Lafferty whose not part of the NRA event but is outside protesting isn't trolling meaning she wouldn't be on any NRA bulletin. You guys think you're slick but really you're not.
Which is what I said. Why would anyone assume she would be on any NRA bulletin? I stated she would be there, nothing more. I was not aware of her status until you stated it in this very post I'm responding to. If anything, I thought maybe someone in the NRA had invited her in a gesture of empathy, in an effort to say "Hey, we're not the Bad Guys here. We're sorry for your loss." You've certainly set me straight.
If you want to toss out anecdotal evidence was gospel, I have one too. My wife, being a "Public Safety Telecommunicator" (AKA: Dispatcher) attended the APCO conference a few weeks ago that featured Maureen Will. Maureen was standing in the Radio Room when the first calls from Sandy Hook came in and the first Dispatches went out. My wife attended her public presentation, but also got the opportunity to have dinner with her and spend a lot of one-on-one time with her because my wife's agency actually sponsored her. But, I digress. The anecdote? Both Mrs. Will and, according to her, her boss, the Chief of Police for Newtown, CN have both spoken out personally and publicly that they both believe an assault weapons ban would not have stopped this tragedy. She's in favor of more guns. Her quote. Why is her anecdote and the one by the Chief of Police less valid? Why is that not being covered?
As I frequently point out, the worst mass shooting we've had (Virginia Tech) involved NO assault weapons or unusually large magazines and the victims were all adults. No matter how much firepower a would-be mass killer brings, if people can escape or resist, he's not going to be very effective. But if they can do neither, and the killer corners them, he can kill at leisure with even the most basic of firearms. In many schools, office buildings, and other places where people gather en masse, escape is difficult because the facilities are not designed with rapid outflow of people from anywhere within in mind. At best, they're designed to have a quasi-orderly outflow of people from a few exits in case of fire. I think those who plan new facilities should probably consider these kinds of attacks and put plenty of outlets in place. If there's only one door to the room you're in (and escape through a window is impossible), then the killer is likely to corner you.
You're right, the layout of buildings are to blame for mass shootings, not the availability of guns, gun culture, or gun owners themselves. Architects should definitely design buildings with mass shootings in mind because that's obviously the underlying cause.
Why are Chad and Garamet not getting warnings for trolling outside the red Room? I only assume they're trolling, since that's all they ever do in gun discussions, but I actually can't see their posts. But it's a safe bet.
