A couple of years ago the KKK had an event here in Augusta promoting their hate, giving speeches, whatever they do. Only about a few dozen people came, nearly all of them to point and laugh. It was a miserable failure by anybody's standards.

HA! I called it. You put out facts (yes, actual facts not opinions) and people still negate or dismiss the information. Did you actually use these threads and their associated links? Maybe my town is unique in having black on white attacks vastly out number white on black. Wait - it isn't! But there will never be outrage because if you live in an American city with a majority minority population, you expect it. And when you live in country that "tows the party line" of Political Correctness, you expect the stories to be buried, or racial hatred never is mentioned. But why post the facts about it? What's shitty about it?

Violent crime (though not as bad as Atlanta) empty and abandoned stores/businesses, old dilapidated crumbling bricks hitting people as they pass the structures, I think high unemployment but I'm not sure and not concerned because that doesn't affect me per se. No major attractions for families, but you can drive a couple of hours down the freeway to them, and pump money into their economies.

City council members that can't get together on anything because they are obsessed with racial balance. The town is about fifty-fifty black/non-black, the black population slightly the majority. Hispanic and Asians get lumped in with the whites. Thus votes get dead-locked on issues because they are split down the middle.

My county I choose to live in is one of the fastest growing in Georgia, because they have their shit together most of the time. And we are a mixture of all races and ethnic groups. A lot of Indians (dot, not casino) live in my county these days, they are too busy working hard and getting educated to cause any trouble.

The disadvantage of my county is insane traffic and deer-car collisions (because it's growing so fast). Deer never figure out that there's as much food on their side of the road as the other side.

It's a tradition that's as old as the arrival of the first slave ship, and one of the main "reasons" for many U.S. drug laws.
