    Having dealt with some of the internals of BoA/ML on more than a few occasions, it honestly wouldn't shock me. With the obvious exception of their Private Banking endeavors, every employee below the level of Vice President is treated as if they were the chaff left on the threshing floor. They go out of their way to reinforce that you're just a number. An unimportant and easily replaced nobody who could cease to exist this very moment and never be missed.

    Well there you go, garamet. Someone has done your homework for you. Not an unpaid internship. In fact off the top of my head it sounds like he was making something like a $50-60k salary in this internship.
