"Coke is It." "Just Do It." "I'm Lovin' It." "Virginia is for Lovers." "Where's the Beef!?" I think we can all agree there is a place in marketing for a well-crafted catchphrase. For Wordforge, I suggest we use "Volpone was right." I mean, let's face it. It is easy to forget that I've been right on pretty much everything I've ever said/suggested here. I'm not big on accolades, so I'm OK with letting someone else get the credit when they finally get around to seeing my visionary idea. But I feel it nicely sums up Wordforge. To wit: This is a place where you can be scoffed at and derided--even when it turns out you are right. For that matter, by the time it turns out you were right, people will have conveniently forgotten it was your point in the first place. And there are some people here, if you told them the sky was blue, they'd tell you it was purple just because they couldn't be caught agreeing with you. so it is pretty much the perfect slogan. I'm thinking a nice slick script sort of font. Yeah, it would be a little dated and '90s looking, but it could be fit neatly in under the "Wordforge". And I really think it would bring in new members.
"Tamar, I don't think it is a good idea to tell Ted your address." "He's a very good boy and we've been talking a lot. I think he's made a lot of progress." [Tamar comes home to the pet rabbit, boiling in a pot.] Volpone was right.
Talking about imaginary people is a meme, VisionRazor? Who knew? Now, post the one where you claim I'm following you around. That's always good for a laugh.
I was ignoring you until you started dogging me. Identity of dual confirmed by the dual himself? Priceless!
Well, you said it ages after he already had my address and he has never showed up at my house or mailed me dead animals. His creepy shit was done on the internet only so... Volpone was wrong. Again.
