Clearly terrorism. East Harlem has long been on Al Queda's list of targets.

The mocking tone of Forbin's post, along with his racist assertion that Afro - Americans could never be important enough to be targeted by terrorists is clearly an attempt to drag the thread off - topic and derpy. Paladin, please split the thread. :bailey:

Flashlight's automatic assumption that "Harlem" = "Afro-Americans" is clearly racist and pure derp. Paladin, you know what you have to do.

It's sad that two people Harlem-shuffled off their mortal coils.

I thought Harlem was infested with hipsters now, not black people.

Which is surprising, as no one in Harlem would be able to pay to keep it flowing.

There is probably a gas line passing through there connecting wealthy Westchester to the north with wealthy Lower Manhattan to the South. Perhaps building residents tried to steal access to this resource.

Some years ago, there was a gas pipeline that exploded in New Jersey simply because it was old. No need to have folks tampering with the pipe.

Kind of makes you wonder how bad the pipes are in that area. I'd say if I were them I'd move out of there, but if they're really poor, they probably have no options.

You know I spent 6 days in that city last September and took the subway from Queens into Manhattan several times each day but somehow I was never sat on by any of Mewa's legendary subway whales.

I'm starting to think they're like bigfoot or the yeti. Where is the proof that the supposed woman who sat on Mewa even exists? Blurry photos and all that...

Most of the infrastructure in the city is 50-60 years old. Except for the water mains. Some of those are over 200 years old.

I'd prefer to have a god who didn't allow buildings explode and kill people or followers who raped little kids, but that's just me.
