How about it folks, what do you score? http://www.playbuzz.com/wrtvdigital10/can-you-pass-a-u-s-citizenship-test Some of these questions are overly simplistic, and the answer for at least one is wrong IMO, but still might be fun for bragging rights. I got 49/50 right, and would argue that the 50th question is designed to not allow a correct answer. Who's next?
45/50, though I disagree with all of the answers on the question about the different numbers of representatives per state. Now, can I please also not be a US citizen?
WHAT IS THE ECONOMIC SYSTEM IN THE UNITED STATES? Should be 'none of the above'. Its 'capitalistic...ish' but not 'captitalism'
41/50. I prefer Canada, though. But the Canadians only accept bright, productive immigrants, so I have to stay in this rotten place.
I missed the number of representatives, clicked on Declaration instead of Constitution by mistake, and who wrote the Federalist Papers.
If the President and Vice President can no longer serve, who becomes President? That one is pretty clear.
I got 50 out of 50. Not difficult. Lots of common sense in my opinion. I think I hesitated on two or three. I was kind of surprised about the "capitalist system" but it clearly would not be one of the other options.
To clarify, I didn't mean the one that was 50th on the list. I meant the one that wasn't the 49. It was the economic system question, I picked none of the above, because the US has a mixed economy. But the test claims capitalist is the answer.
Pretty difficult these days. The immigration laws have been consierably tightened and that's the route you have to go through in order to qualify for settlement and thereafter citizenship. Not that you know that from the Btitish press scaremongering....
