    Fine.

If I was wrong, I apologize.

You seem to think everyone here has the memory of a goldfish. If I'm only irritating "these days," how do you explain your attitude for the past 11 years? As for quoting you, maybe you shouldn't have posted the lie in the first place.

You're playing to an empty house, Esmeralda. Time to retrieve your boa and Exit Stage Left.

    Blah, blah, blah.

Everyone sees what you are now. If anyone's house is empty, it's yours Elphaba. Even the monkeys have been scarce lately.

But don't worry your ancient little head about it, the weather is delightful so you don't have to angst about seeing me much.

Funny how even with Wordforge emptier than ever, it's not enough for you...you still want to get rid of more people you don't like. And when it's finally the echo chamber of your dreams? What will you do then? Scurry back to TBBS to get your thrills?

Whatever...enjoy taking pot shots at the air. :marathon:

Tamar, I have to wonder if you even read what Garamet said. Your canned response seems tailor made for something, just not what she wrote.

She got stuck on her Wizard of Oz imagery about a decade ago and hasn't come up with anything new since.

Irritating enough to make you piss off again?

As someone that has rarely, if ever, gotten involved in the silly board politics here, that has been my opinion of Tamar for many years

Apparently because I didn't put any smilies after my post she thinks I'm trying to get rid of Face.

Just came back from a lovely dinner. Trying to decide between Netflix and Amazon Prime. Who'll be the last one to log off in the wee hours, you or Castle?

As much as I think Grout's a crotchety, caustic ass, I wouldn't put money on him being a Luci dual. In fact, I'd say that'd very much be a losing bet, as I ran the 'NotDayton' Luci dual Morning Prince at TK.

What does saying "Blah, blah, blah" to garamet have to do with apologizing to Grout? :dizzy:

You apologised (if you can call it that: "if I was wrong") to Grout for the same behaviour you immediately gave garamet afterwards. But you probably didn't notice, since you hadn't considered your apology anyway.

Yeah, the "if I was wrong," and "if I offended," apologies are not.

From what I've seen in the threads I have participated in, there are people who are not willing to accept opinions that are different from theirs. When they encounter people with opinions that counter theirs rather than discussing they go on the offensive and attack the person.

I think the real problem is that most people believe their own opinion is universally correct and should therefore be accepted by others. The reality, though, is we all have different backgrounds and circumstances, and there might legitimately be different "correct" answers for different people. When something that seems obvious to one of us is rejected by others, the tendency is to assume stupidity/trolling/etc., all of which we take as a personal attack, even when it often isn't.

I can accept a wide range of opinions. However, I occasionally find that there are certain posters to whom I have a rather strong personal objection.
