I should need one....i have painted, done laundry, done surveys, done study, cooked/eaten a pizza....but my sinusses are behaving today so i am wide awake.
Now my friend Dave has an earring.. A 50 year old man with a diamond in his ear. She is dressing him too.. I give up..
I have never, in 38 years on this planet, eaten Poutine. Nowhere to even get it around here, that I know of. It's on my bucket list, though.
LOOKS GOOD!! BTW- They sell this at Wendy's in Canada (Quebec) http://eater.com/archives/2012/04/25/wendys-now-serves-poutine-all-across-canada.php
Must. Try. But I can't just hop up and roll for Canadia Prime at a whim. Lemme check Maps and see if any place around here does the stuff.
Mmmmmm, lunch, baby. Ordered me up somethin' from Oliveo's -- Roasted bell pepper hummus for a starter, and a lamb souvlaki plate. Dee-lish-yoo-lous.
Dinner tonight was mac & cheese, but done up BIG, son! Included ground beef, green bell peppers, Greek olives (pitted), and three cheeses -- American cheddar, Pepper Jack, and Feta. Washed it down with a six of Strongbow "Honey & Apple" cider. Dee-lish-yoo-lous.
Went to the local Greek Fest last weekend had Lamb, rice pilaf, green beans, Greek salad, pita bread & honey balls for dessert. Good Stuff!!!!!
Greek food is so good... so good! There's also a Punjabi joint right across the street from where I live, called The Dhaba. Big portions, delicious food, and the owner's wife acts like she's everybody's mama.
Tonight's dinner was a carne asada burrito. Even managed to persuade the furry little four legged Miss to have a nibble of that tasty tasty stuff. She got really enthusiastic about it.
made a sort of sushi today for lunch - i had the nori and the tamari soaked rice....but instead of stuffing it with fish, i used boiled broad beans and peanut butter! it may sound disgusting - but it tasted okish and was healthy!
That... well, you're right, that does sound disgusting. All the same, I'd give it a go. As for little Miss, she loves carne asada. I got myself a big, FAT carne asada burrito from the Messkin joint down the street, Filiberto's, and she was ALL crazed 'n' frantic to get her some of that.
Time to REMODEL and get this topic rolling again, as it's time for Holiday cooking. Cookies and pies, Turkey and stuffing with mashed potatoes. MMMMM.. :chef::chef:
