    i've lost my appetite today...so it will be a beer for me.

    I guess I havent yet settled into a new routine - my body is less active and my mind more, and they have yet to get in sync and sort their relationship out. its a bardo for me as well as Dad - between caring and whats next for a few weeks - while he is between being my dad and rebirth...so after pigging on some delish vegan cakes with juicy mango chunks that a friend from the carers forum made for me when they came for coffee yesterday, i am not ready to think food yet today! so beer....

    Speaking of greasy spoon... wait... anyway, I miss having 3 AM suppers at Waffle House. A cheese steak sandwich, hash browns, and a gallon of black coffee, and sitting at the table with friends talking about nothing at all. Those were high school days. I haven't stepped foot inside a Waffle House in more than ten years. I miss it.
