24 hour Diner..The Greasy Spoon

I used to celebrate it - it is just that i don't celebrate any of the western world customs these days - including christmas! I gave them up as I don;t 'do' commercialism and am not Christian - so I simply don;t see the point wasting money/time/energy on them.... I celebrate other things instead.

It's a good day to be with my family.

Crock pot turkey, baked mashed potatoes, corn or green bean casserole, acorn squash, rolls & pumpkin pie!

Me and Emma are going to watch the Parade..

We're having herb chicken, stuffing, potato salad, rolls, and pie.

NO TURKEY!! Are you a communist??

I helped my Aunt Billie set up her Christmas tree today..

Well, the herb chicken is already cooked, and just needs heated, and I can get one for $6, and we're on an extremely tight budget this year.

The Salvation Army will give you a turkey if you need one.. I know of two other sources..

That's okay. We'll be fine. Plus, since Rick will be working, it will just be the three of us this year, so nothing big is planned.
