Eh, just looked, and it just sends links to discussions that might make sense if you're already familiar with the wikipedia editing and update system. I'm following for the moment, but I suspect without an interpreter, I'll drop it fairly quickly.

I suppose it would be too much to ask that Capitol IT staff try to determine who is responsible for this. Libeling a TV actress on the taxpayer dime? There's gotta be some way that's illegal.

I bet it's from the House. That's where the majority of loonies in Congress live. With all the noise about Obama not focusing on real issues, the same can be said for Congress.

You know the anti-LGBT side is in its pathetic death throes when vandalizing Wikipedia is the most radical act they've got left.

Its unlikely that the janitor is going to have access to the web, since computer systems in the Congressional buildings are going to have to be locked down pretty tight (what with many members of Congress having access to classified documents and all), but it could be any number of people, from a receptionist to a Kongress Kritter.

Well my point is don't be a partisan shithead and completely build a narrative around your bias when you have no idea who it was.

That really is why this place is...tiring.

to be fair, being observant enough to note the bias of others is not in itself a display of bias. Staffers for a social conservative are more likely to share similar views, and vice versa

Not on the same IP ranges as the Congressional offices, if they're smart. They need to put as much separation between the Capitol computer systems used by government employees from those that the general public might be able to access as humanly possible.

BTW, government organizations tend to have multiple domains which they operate out of that are not generally known to the public. For example, there's an ovaloffice.gov domain which is tied to certain activities of the executive branch, but most people don't know that it exists. And if there's one like that, there's certain to be more.

Is anyone really surprised to see this type of a thing happening? This a result of repeatedly electing and re-electing the same types of people from the main two political parties.

He's always been that way. We just kind of forget about it because he ran off for a bit because he didn't like getting negrepped. :cylon:

Now that he's in power, can't be negrepped and can't be "ignored," he's just more noticeable.

Hmm, pretty sure I was in the top 3 for rep last time I was here in the neg rep era. But go ahead and keep making things up. You have no idea just how pathetic you really are, but it's good for a laugh. Now go ahead with some line about the emperor's new clothes or a stuttering clusterfuck of a failure or some such.

It is kinda entertaining (in that train wreck sort of way) watching the new owners "manage" this place into the ground while trolling and insulting everyone and telling each other how cool they are.

what is the exact opposite of entertainment is watching malcontents derail every single discussion on the board into a rerun of the "new owners are the suxor!!!!11!!11!!" routine. Whatever the pros or cons of the new ownership may be, it is an absolute certainty that no new poster on the board is going to stay long when that shit is unavoidable in the red room, let alone the long-time posters who get so sick of it that they leave too.

If you are REALLY interested in quality posting here, you and those who agree with you would confine your bitching to threats where it is on topic rather than fucking up every thread you post in.
