Interesting that you think you know Islam better than the majority of the worlds Muslim population.

There were Islamic leaders publicly saying the police needed to investigate this guy years ago, and many groups have openly and unreservedly condemned him.

When you have an internally inconsistent piece of fiction all interpretations that consider it consistent or non-fiction are, of course, equally wrong. That majority of the world's muslim population is just as wrong as these fuckers in that regard, as are all christians and jews who believe in their bibles. Don't confuse being a decent person with being right.

Actually, we did. The post-9/11 hysteria gave us the PATRIOT Act and the TSA. Not to mention the War to Find the WMDs That Weren't.

Yeah I don't think you're agreeing with what he's implying.

    Explain.

Yes she did, which is why sane people recognize that she's not some crazy lefty, or even any kind of lefty at all. She's a centrist Democrat with tediously mainstream political positions who picks very few fights at all.

Great name for a baseball team! "It's the top of the third inning and The Sydney Hostages are still in the lead."
Guessing their mascot might be a little unsettling though.

From ESPN's cricket pages about a fan's guide to New Zealand.

Teams: Heaps of New Zealand sporting teams have a moniker that includes the word black or silver: All Blacks (rugby), Black Caps (cricket), Silver Ferns (netball), Black Sox (softball), Iron Blacks (gridiron), Black Sticks (hockey), Black Ferns (women's rugby), Black Fins (surf lifesaving), Wheel Blacks (wheelchair rugby), Tall Blacks (basketball) and Blackjacks (bowls). Things famously went off the rails when New Zealand badminton rolled the dice and tried to become the Black Cocks. It didn't last long.

I knew what he was trying to imply, I was just pointing out that in the vast majority of cases of public violence in Australia, men are the common factor.

Do those savages include all the Muslim children killed?

Who here has defended the Taliban? Little tip: it's possible to think the Taliban are brutal savages who need to be wiped out without writing off a quarter of the worlds population in the process.

 I see no difference in those killed in an explosion, or those allowed to die because people thought prayer, rather than medical science was the answer. I know that if Pat Robertson thought he could get away with it, he'd have no problem with calling for people to fly planes into tall buildings. The reason Robertson can't get away with it is because atheists such as myself are willing to call him on his bullshit. Of course, if Robertson had his way, atheists like myself, would be put to death at the first opportunity.

First, you can start by explaining how I'm "defending" them. I've got no problems with OBL being whacked. Heck, if Tommy Franks had decided to go all "George S. Patton" on Tora Bora way back in '01, I'd have been for it. I've got no problems with the US bombing the crap out of Afghanistan even pre-9/11. What I do have a problem with was our invasion of Iraq in '03. Saddam was a Grade A assgasket, but posed no threat to anyone outside of Iraq. Had we gotten Afghanistan to a democratic state and capable of managing its own affairs, I'd have entertained the notion of the US invading Iraq.
