Trying out a ramp I helped a mate finish off.... Might spend a few evenings round here in the near future. Or I might at some point realise how old I am...

Are sunrise photos too clichéd?

    image.jpg

I should add I took it this morning about 600 feet from my house.

No, sunset photos are played out. Most people are too lazy to get up that early for sunrise photos! BTW your air conditioning must be working overtime if you are 600 feet from the sun!

Sleepy bunny in the back yard. This guy has become a regular. I think he adopted us. Or he adopted the clover in the yard.

Sunset down the block. Seriously enhanced with the vibrance and contrast tools.

Bzzz. Little fucker wouldn't hold still - this is the best of about a dozen shots, and the only one in focus :ramen:.

HA! That sleepy bunny is in a food coma or has narcolepsy or something. Seriously, I have never in my life seen a wild rabbit actually laying down without a care in the world. Normally they are super paranoid 24/7 because everything is trying to eat them!

That one fawn was totally pulling a "dick move" cutting the other one off trying to cross the road! :shakefist:
BTW on a sad note I saw a dead pretty big fawn (road kill) right out side the gate at work today. Hopefully somebody claimed it before the coyotes do. They are already dead, you might as well eat them so they don't die in vain.

Are some of your neighbors feeding the local deer? What could there possibly be to eat in your neighborhood that doesn't grow in the woods? :calli:

Oh absolutely. The guy in the house on the left of my driveway puts out deer chow (corn?) for them. Then they come over to my lawn to poop.

I just stepped out on the back porch, and my neighbor was trimming bushes in his back yard and tossing the trimmings over his back fence. There were three deer standing there waiting for them and eating them as they piled up.

Sounds about right! You know what really draws deer in? The sound of a chainsaw, especially in the winter when they are hungry.
