DNC Devolves Into Utter Chaos

First the #DNCleaks exposed DWS' loyalty to Clinton (RIGGED!) on the eve of the convention.

Then Clinton makes DWS honorary chair! DWS escorted out for personal safety.

Then Bernie HELPS Hillary stay on track for the nomination by betraying his people and reversing his ideology (pivot?). Pisses off supporters by calling situation "just the way democracy works" despite the fact that his supporters now have evidence to the contrary (not to mention super delegate scandal).

So the people bring in Bernie signs and chant "Bernie," but are threatened, arrested and tossed out!



Then Hillary gives speech to half empty room.



What a MESS!

That is shocking.

The truth is, most people can't stand the sound of her voice, much less the fact that she just lies and lies.

I don't think the second video is fair. Most seats are empty because no one wants to sit there for hours listening to people drone on and on. The Democrats had 61 people speak on Monday. That's a lot.

And I'm sure it was the same in the Republican Convention.

Those seats will be full when Hillary and Kaine give their speeches.

That would seem reasonable if her acceptance speech had been on Monday.

I'm not the biggest Hilary fan, but is this the first time these Bernie Bros have ever watched an election cycle? I don't seem to recall anyone calling Hilary a sellout for supporting Obama after he won the nomination and the only reason Cruz took flack for his actions last week is because he's that much of a horse's ass.

Are Bernie supporters willing to gamble on their gay friends' rights and female friends and family's reproductive choices because of feelings? Hilary is a crook, but I don't worry that we'll be reopening detention camps if she gets elected.

If you live in one of the five states where your vote actually matters, you have a shitty choice to make. That's adult in for ya. Sorry, kids.

I can see why Bernie supporters are being a problem. Bernie supporters are about the issues and feel deeply about them. Bernie happened to really be a decent representative for them. He was ideal, and his campaign was stopped by some nasty tricks and bullshit. The problem is trump is not benign like McCain or even Romney. Trump is horrible. Hillary got on top, and she is not going to destroy the country. She may be dragged towards Bernie progressive ideals, and she is going to keep things running. The idea that Hillary is going to destroy America is stupid. She is part of the system and will keep it going. She is educated, has experience, and she knows the players and already has a reputation with them. Trump is an idiot with no plan who hopes to fly by the seat of his pants and he pisses people off and fucks up a lot.

I think Bernie supporters need some time and to realise this was their first shot and it was a hell of a shot. With more time and prep their next one is going to be revolutionary.Hillary goes with the flow, so you just make sure things are flowing the right way and she will be your candidate.

Hillary's platform was similar to Obama's. They were splitting hairs to find differences. Two Wall Street pees in a pod.

Bernie led a genuine political revolution BECAUSE he (previously) wanted to end all those forms of corruption that characterize Hillary / Obama / Bush platform.

Her acceptance speech wasn't today either.

Trump appeared during Cruz's speech but I doubt that arena was full when he did it.

Where liberals are horribly mistaken is that Trump is more socially progressive than Hillary, which is why so many strong conservatives were #neverTrump.

Hillary only pays her female staffers about two-thirds what she pays her male staffers. She can blather on about equal pay all she wants, but she's not going to do anything about it because she doesn't do anything about it even when she's the one signing the paychecks.

Trump employs about 53% men and 47% women, and he pays them exactly the same. Moreover, he has more female executives than male executives. And he did this in the construction and real estate industry that didn't even employ hardly any women until Trump came along. His daughter Ivanka said he will focus on the reasons mothers make so much less than their male counterparts. Hillary doesn't give a rat's ass, probably because she views marriage as an arrangement where Bill fucks other women and children are just campaign props and ways to rake in more illegal money through insider trading.

Trump supports amending the 1964 Civil Rights Act to include sexual orientation. He wants to protect LGBT people from Muslim mass murderers. Hillary wants to let in as many unvetted Syrians as possible, the people who throw gays off buildings. She was also staunchly against gay marriage and one of its main opponents in the Senate. But then she had no problem marrying someone whose mentor was a staunch segregationist, and who was instrumental in massively increasing the population of black prison inmates. Bill bragged about adding more than seventy knew death penalty offenses for drug crimes, crimes committed almost entirely by black people in the ghetto - and Mexicans.

Trump has New York City values. Hillary has corrupt Little Rock values.

With the whole Bernie mess, I can actually see Trump winning.

Yes let's keep up the narrative that the Russians hacked the DNC (as if it matters) and anyone protesting as a result of the hack are just immature college kids. You're practically doing their job for them.

Cruz took flack because he dared to go against the party. This election has been the establishment elite vs the outsiders. Don't you see what's happening? The elites won on the democratic side and there's proof now that the game is rigged and people are pissed, but you call the people who are pissed a bunch of children. Good job, you bought the lie. You're selling the narrative for them. Next you'll tell us that all who dislike the Ghostbusters reboot are a bunch of man child women haters.

Yes, it was Russians who hacked the DNC because they want to undermine Hillary... Because they know Trump would be a piss poor president.

In the 20,000 emails released so far, the only thing that it showed was that DNC officials had a preference for the stronger candidate to win their nomination. When all of the plots were emerging to undermine Bernie, the DNC shot them down and reminded everyone that they had to remain uninvolved. DWS called Bernie "an asshole" when he refused to concede the race after he was mathematically eliminated from winning and after a while, I was feeling the same way too... And I'm a registered independent.

The bottom line is that in all the emails released so far, the DNC did nothing to rig the primaries, even though it seems most of them had a preference. Everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that Trump is the preferred candidate of Russia and they've conspired with Wikileaks to help him win.

Based on the news I've read about the convention, there are quite a few Sanders supporters who absolutely refuse to fall in line and vote for Clinton. But I'm not sure if the number of Sanders supporters who are pissed off enough to go to the convention to protest will be an accurate representation of democrat voters who will refuse to vote for Clinton to stop Trump come election time. Based on the two Bernie supporters I've spoken to personally, one will be voting Clinton, and one told me "Fuck that bitch and fuck Trump."

He is solidly behind Clinton, and most of his supporters are headed that way, too. Not that she has a lock on 270 electoral votes, but if she loses, I doubt very much that it will be due to Sanders issues.

Trump seems prepared to be Putin's boy. If you look at the few firm foreign policy ideas he has presented, they all favor Russian strategic interests. I'm beginning to wonder whether Putin actually has some sort of leverage over Trump. Much of his real estate empire has involved investment by Russian oligarchs. What does he owe these people? How much have they helped him financially? It's very telling that he refuses to release his tax returns.

I've said more than once on this board the game is bloody rigged. On both ends.

But I have to question the logic of supposed progressives willing to split the vote and open the door to a Trump presidency. If they think Hilary is awful, imagine have the second coming of Hitler. Come on. I know a number of Bernie Bros were in diapers during the first Bush election, but we all know how the horrid electoral college works.

They could always vote third party.
