Not true. Section 3 of 20th Amendment. The Vice President-elect would take the oath of office as President. Took me a minute's Googling to find out.
This whole partisan bickering is astonishing from my point of view. You have a 68 year old running against an obese 70 year old, and we're supposed to believe that both of them never get ill?
Now Trump is awesome for behavior that made Bill Clinton and John Kennedy immoral whore-masters. You normally have to watch Cirque Du Soleil to see such contortions, and flips.
Clinton and Kennedy cheated on their wives with hundreds and hundreds of women, and Bill raped an unknown but significant number of women. Trump just got married a few times.
It seems to be big news that Hillary has pneumonia. Her age is certainly a issue. The problem is trump is as old as she is, and his doctor is a wack job. I was a supporter of Bernie Sanders, and his age was a concern of mine since he was older than both of them. Trump may very well be suffering from dementia considering his shifty statements and behavior. Problem is we do not have much of a choice.
We need someone young and virile to be elected, preferably with great upper body strength. Paging @Dayton3 ...
We need to elect Heather Penney. Not sure what her politics are, but I'd be happy with her in charge. One hour c-span interview.
That's the sort of thing that tells us Zombie is just a better than average parrot. His regurgitation of the talking points seems better framed than most, but then there's always the tell when some demonstrably false declaration is solemly made.
63 and 71. Then again, Bill Weld did dive in to the Charles River once, in an attempt to prove it wasn't polluted, much like Monty Burns claimed that three eyed fish were delicious. Weld has got to be pretty robust to have survived that stunt.
http://theweek.com/articles/648141/why-did-hillary-clinton-lie-about-health The most charitable reading of this timeline is that her campaign — presumably with the blessing and perhaps insistence of the candidate — fully intended to keep her illness a secret from the public. Let's be clear about what this means: Her campaign intended to lie. Even though doing so would require her to keep up a public schedule that might well make her condition worse and require ever-more elaborate forms of concealment. Because, of course, to curtail her schedule would raise questions that might reveal the truth. .... Because now the story isn't just that Clinton is ill. It's that, once again, she's untrustworthy — and this time about her own health. .... "It's pneumonia," the campaign will proclaim over and over again. To which a skeptical America will justifiably reply, "Yes, we can tell that you'd like us to think so. But we have no reason to trust that's true."
Just remember, this was "overheating" until the videos of her twitching into a van surfaced. If it hadn't surfaced we'd have never heard the pneumonia line.
The BBC are calling it "standing pneumonia", which is allegedly different from the regular version. When I had the regular version I was bed bound, so I'm not convinced she has the regular version unless they pumped her full of steroids, and god knows what else, to enable her to walk out of the Flatiron Building as easily as she did.
@Wonka: see my post about walking pneumonia. Age and health can impact overall activity levels, but it is nowhere near as debilitating as the full fledged version.
And cheated on every single one of them. Hillary really is going out of her way to screw this up. Just heed the advice of the doctors and stay home a few days. Checks can be written without her presence.
That was hilarious. He was accused of "metaphorically raping" a woman. Meanwhile, Bill Clinton perjured himself in court on multiple occasions about his rapes of women, and there was a line of accusers. There was even DNA evidence. He was impeached, disbarred, and had to pay out huge settlements to some of his victims. Hillary, meanwhile, destroyed the lives of many of the women his husband raped or sexually assaulted.
We know you only care about rape when it's a Clinton or a muslim, it's yet another reason why no one takes you seriously. Being misogynistic is one thing but being misogynistic because girls won't fuck you is so incredibly pathetic.
This just in: Bill Clinton is a serial rapist, just like Bill Cosby. Both used power and fear of retribution to get away with it.
Pneumonia is a common lung infection caused by bacteria, a virus or fungi. It is often spread via coughing, sneezing, or even breathing, and those who don't exhibit symptoms can also spread the illness. more.
Pneumonia is a symptom of an infection, not an infection. It is an inflammation of the alveoli in the lungs, which can be caused by any number of different infections. The communicability of the underlying cause, be it virus, fungus, or bacteria, varies considerably, and simply because the cause was communicated doesn't mean the complication--i.e., pneumonia--will be. If you have a pneumonia caused by the flu and you cough on someone, you risk communicating the flu. The chance that pneumonia then develops in the person to whom you gave the flu is independent of whether or not you had pneumonia; it would be the same chance if you communicated the same flu virus but you yourself didn't develop pneumonia.
