Some interesting clues but little real information. They are now saying he was 23, that he was home schooled, that he was supposedly very religious, that he worked as a shipping clerk, that he opposed gay marriage and... Not much else.

They do say he went to community college for a while before dropping out. He claimed on Facebook he was a conservative, he was against abortion, and wanted to eliminate sex offender registration.

Oh, police say they found a target list or maybe a list of potential targets. His fuck up seems to have been going to Home Drpot to buy large quantities of a specific type of nails (used as shrapnel in the bomb), he was wearing a wig and paid with cash, but video caught him walking out to a parked car which was registered to his real name. Police then knew who he was but not where he was as he had his cellphone turned off.

His mistake was turning on his phone this morning which told police exactly where to find him.

The police were onto him already despite no motives being released. Sounds like they had known who he was somehow and kept his motives secret while they tracked him down. Plus he supposedly had a lot of online evidence but yet the news and internet blogs don't have much on him meaning everything was pulled very quickly be for any identity could be made. Keeping quiet about the bikers being gay and pretending that the white pair was a non white supremacist attack seems like the police were trying to obscure what they did have so he was not aware of how far they had come.

I am waiting for it to come out, but we will know more as victim information and info on the guy get more and more released. He was stalking victims for a reason and they knew it. Lots of people bike and not just gay people. The names of the two "seriously injured white males" has been released and no one has mentioned anything about being gay. All I have heard is it was an upper middle class mostly white part of Austin and the two were cyclists.

The police seem to have been pretty well onto who he was very quickly. It is my thought something he did online had already tripped them off. Unless he was buying nails by the palate I am pretty sure the nail purchases were confirmation evidence that came from the investigation and not why he was on the radar in the first place. I am thinking they are probably going to keep the reasons behind how they caught up with him quiet because it might be shady and it might be new. It is Austin and professional gays are not terribly public about their relationships there. They knew who this guy was going after and were sending some hints out threw the news for what people were to look out for. They news was reporting unconfirmed racism when it was a couple of black people. The white supremacist angle was already going out there enough, but it was never stated. People who would be targeted by a white Christian activist were being told enough to be very cautious and they were tracking this guy pretty quickly. The authorities knew who he was, and it would not be odd for a closet couple in Texas to be under the radar and not outed on public media. Not to mention if they were from families who were prejudiced they may not be outed ever in respect for the relatives.

I will say they were probably gay. If this Christian white supremacist had a list of victims it means he was stalking people. He hated gays and abortion so two guys together screams a gay target because they were white. It could be wrong, he was not hitting random people so they were either gay or on his list some other reason.
