That's not an opinion, that's a lie. Or else you played with your phone every time an emotional or plot moving scene happened.
Misuse? The Infinity Gauntlet can do anything. It's the ultimate mcguffin. Any corner the writers write themselves into can be escaped just by saying "But then character x uses the Infinity Gauntlet . . . " and all the problems go away.
Finally got out to see this last night. Holy crap, it was awesome. Altho someone seems to have forgotten that as of Thor: Ragnorok, the God of Thunder doesn't need a hammer to throw lighting bolts. Otherwise I've nothing bad to say about it. I may notice more stuff on a second viewing once it comes out on Netflix or whatever. Unrelated to the movie itself, I gave serious thought to making this the last movie I go see in a theater. Even tho a 6:50 Thursday night showing was pretty empty, there were still retards with cell phones and one idiot resting his feet on the back of the seat in front of him. Oh, and they were advertising some new movie app called "Noovie" that actually encourages the morons to play with their cell phones in the theater. Gaawwwww . . . .
Well folks, we truly have experienced a cultural phenomenon with this movie. I went on YouTube just now to look up the song Rubber Band Man because I had been thinking about the movie and I scrolled down to the comments section and it looks like a lot of people were thinking the same thing. Check it out.
So that just leaves the theater full of the over 30's brats who use their cellphones. The ship has sailed on cellphones in theaters. Not much can be done because you don't want to interrupt the movie throwing out every single idiot who uses one.
Well, cinemas over here request no mobile use before a film. Most don't once they see that. I just figure that over 30s, when seeing that request, would be generally more inclined to comply.
while I'm here... I thought it was great, like everyone else, but my son and I were discussing after and really, if you want to nitpick plot holes, there are several different things that Strange has already done on screen that he should have been able to easily do to thwart Thanos. Conversely, if Thanos can manipulate reality at will with the Reality stone, then he should have been able to will a victory in any contest (for example, just will Vision to some deserted planetoid where he was alone with him, then turn Vision into soup and boom, got a stone)
if you like the funny, snarky, patter between characters such as GotG is expert at, then it's well worth seeing even if the action set pieces bore you by now. That and the emotional impact of various scenes makes for a well told story regardless of your view of comic book action.
Well on my second viewing I had two of 'those' in front of myself. A swift kick to their back rest with words following the brutality resolved the situation.
You've all seen it so why are you still putting things in spoiler tags? I haven't seen it yet but I don't care about spoilers. I already know everything about the movie.
I thought Thanos was the best thing about it. Easily the best villain Marvel have had yet - sympathetic even, despite everything. Although I still don't think the movie itself was that great.
