What are the grounds for your concern? The fact that black skin is a reliable index to identify Democrats isn't hate or racism or a violation of civil rights. It's just math, the kind of math that works when people play identity politics.

When redistricting by whole neighborhoods, with a demographic distributed like black communities in North Carolina, it isn't necessary to be 100% accurate. The very existence of the Black Congressional Caucus is only possible because the math does work.

I've never heard that phrase before so offhand, I'd presume "plantation" is being used to conjure a certain imagery of subservience. You can claim that progressive measures blocked by conservatives fail because no one on the opposite side of the aisle is sincere about fighting for them.

So just to be clear, you're saying that minorities were not targeted during the illegal racial gerrymandering that was the subject of Cooper vs. Harris. It was just democrats that were targeted.
