The concern from across the pond is appreciated but you have to remember US Republicans are raised to believe Europeans are:

2. Prone to surrender
3. Commies/socialists (same thing)
4. Deviants

Any Trump criticisms coming from Europe will be mocked and/or ignored. Trump is an American cancer we have to remove ourselves by protesting, voting, legislating, and owning the moral high ground.

I see the InfoWars/Breitbart crowd are also rubbing themselves because Putin threw out George Soros' name as an example of corporations interfering in politics (since a Russian company allegedly did the meddling, he claims it wasn't representative of Russia even if it did occur wink wink). This leaves out the fact that oligarchs in Russia don't get to make a ruble unless Putin gets his cut, and you can bet that involves acting on his behalf.

I think agents are a subset of assets. All agents are assets, but not all assets are agents.

I thought agents worked for intelligence agencies, and their job was to recruit and handle assets.

All of these Republican rebuking Trump can shut the fuck up until they actually DO something. Talk is cheap. You can talk shit and continue to vote for Trump's agenda 99% of the time and it doesn't make a difference. I'm talking about Flake, McCain, Sasse, McConnell, Ryan, etc.... It is highly likely that the President of The United States is compromised and congress needs to take action in the interest of National Security.

1. Pass a bill to protect the Mueller investigation.
2. Subpoena Trump's tax returns to see what leverage Russia may have on him.
3. Sanction the shit out of Russia. Dare Trump to try and wiggle out of them.

I'm not calling for impeachment, but at this point, I have no faith in the POTUS to lead this country.

Assets are totally pawns, manipulated either knowingly or unknowingly, be it with carrots or sticks.
