People forget that she only got 15,897 votes in her primary win over her Democrat opponent. And she beat him only because he was stupid and thought she was a non-entity. If he had spent sometime campaigning he would probably have beat her. Her win over the Republican was irrelevant since no Republican has ever come close to winning that district.

Personally I think it would be a huge mistake to primary her and would only result in harming the party as a whole. Which is why I totally support the Democrats doing it.

You don't see lefties out mass killing very much, do you? Yes, it is a thought everyone here has had, and yes it is a shortsighted stupid thought, but our reactionary brains all do it. Just because we think it does not mean we act on it, and that is something the right overwhelmingly fails to grasp.

If a group like antifa were to start truly teaching violence and terrorism they would quickly lose left support, the people would leave the organization, and it would become a radical offshoot and not the base that you are trying to please like it has on the right.

There is a certain threshold for violence in everyone. It varies from person to person. The left tries to raise it higher while the right calls everything war and promotes things like toxic pride. The right promotes angry emotions like fear, being a victim, hurt, and rage. The left promotes tolerance, compassion, and empathy which are things that work against conflict.

Yes there are bad actions on both sides, but the scope and scale of them are vastly different.

 

2/3rds of terrorism in the US is tied to right wing extremists. But they don’t like to hear about that.
