Hmmmm...seems someone was feeling the heat. Not sure there's enough there to suspect foul play beyond that which we already know about, suicide by hanging is actually notoriously difficult to fake for a competent forensic examiner (although not impossible).

Also, you're one of the guys who helped handle the pedophile's money, which his victims would desperately like to have, but are unlikely to get because he managed to have it moved to a trust shortly before dying. If you can't get the money of the guy who hurt you, getting the money of the guy who helped that guy make money is almost as good, yes? Sure, their case might not have a legal leg to stand on, but you'll probably go broke trying to fight it in court. And while that court battle is going on, all your financial transactions (and those of your clients) will no doubt be subpoenaed as part of the case. Which means that they become part of the public record. So, any prosecutor or tax collector will be able to examine them to see if any of them are of "questionable" legality. What do you think the odds of someone with ambition isn't going to want to be able to put the "I jailed Epstein's money manager" feather in their cap?

I think the end part becomes a motivating factor. I would imagine as a corrupt person your networking gets you a lot of clients who need your services. If you are serving epstein well I am sure your get other clients looking to do shady or illegal things. This means you are probably in line to go to prison yourself. Basically the party is over and now you have to deal with the downside. Maybe you do not want to live as a schmuck? Maybe you are going to have to look over your shoulder for the rest of your life? Maybe you put your friends and family in danger because the criminals will use them to hurt you?

Then again, he would be a huge liability for the people he worked for, and before he rats people out it would be good to silence him.

Or, he figures that if he kills himself, they won't go after his family.
