The Southern states would starve without federal monies, military bases, etc. As it is, their legislators are pocketing the revenue and their infrastructure is crumbling.
The tweets aren't real, but that asshole is and he did quit NASCAR after posting some rant about political correctness.
Show of hands - who else had to google that guy cuz they never heard of him? and I grew up right around the corner from a NASCAR speedway.
Maybe once the reparations ran out. Of course there'd be all that sweet UN development fund money. China might might pony up some dough as well. I'm sure a presence on the mouth of the Mississippi, access to the LOOP would be worth something to them and the Gulf of Mexico.
Oh my. some of these returning members seem to have radical brain damage from drinking too much of white nationlist kool aid.
I'm not the one reopening 150+ year old wounds. I'm just pointing the reasons why it's a bad idea to do so.
Hey @Marso you really should not freebase the kool aid powder. Your friend is having some sort of psychotic break because of all your right wing crazy. You have to stop before your minions get much more brain damaged than they already are.
You need to take it down a notch or two. coming in here and just showing you are a wackydoodle from stormfront is probably not going to end well for you. BTW you should go talk to @Zombie and @Paladin as they will be your support.
I think it's a bad idea to to divide this country any more than already is at present. We have adversaries who would love nothing better than for our nation to devolve into chaos. I think that we should avoid giving them avenues to cause trouble. I also enjoy a good hypothetical scenario.
That is a very interesting argument, but it overlooks the fact that there never was such an entity as the Confederate States of America, at least in any legitimate sense. None of the states had the legal authority to secede, so their declarations to that effect were null and void the moment they were issued. Therefore, the bases in question are named for neither enemy nor American generals, merely participants in the failed Slavers' Rebellion.
This assumes everyone in the country, at one time, was not divided. And, that is the point of what is happening now.
No. Your original post was wrong. I said it was wrong. Then you asked another question based on your first wrong assumption. So, if you're wrong the first time, the second time, you're way wrong.
I've forgotten. Someone help me out. Is Sandbagger Dinner's original name? or is he someone else's dual? or was he always Sandbagger and he just sounds like Dinner?
Really? The only difference between the original colonies and the CSA is that the colonies won their war.
No one's dual. I just discovered making money and an old hard drive with some saved files. Quarantine cleaning. Forgot all about this place actually.
Sandbagger One was an old KIRK1ADM dual. This one seems at least able to talk without drooling, so no accusations yet.
I laid out the reasons behind mine let's see you do the same. Oh you're just wrong isn't an argument.
Yeah, just looked up some of your old posts - it appears the situation is that KIRK went by Sandbagger One at TBBS for a time and the two of you are almost interchangeable cuntwaffles. hence my mixing you up.
That is debatable. The main body of the Constitution never mentions or even hints at the question of when, how, or if a state can withdraw from the union and never says that cannot be done. Since the constitution doesn't go into the issue, it never grants to the federal government the power to decide on it. And the 10th clearly states that those powers not delegated to the United States, and not prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states. Thus, if you take the constitution at face value, it is up to any state to decide when, how and if it wants to withdraw from the union.
