No it’s not totally discredited, but people should be aware of their ultimate agenda. It’s not all about black lives mattering.
It’s really not though. There is a difference between a long game and a losing game. Wearing a mask is basic empathy, it requires that you do something that helps others more than it helps you, and studies are showing that universal mask usage would destroy the Coronavirus. It’s really easy to do and requires only mild inconvenience. Yet people refuse to wear masks. And you think that somehow people are going to play the long game and turn this into a socialist hellhole? You think a country full of people who can’t do something as mildly inconvenient as wear a mask are going to convert to socialism? Get this boogeyman thinly veiled racist bullshit out of here you fucking manchild.
You can say that about literally anything. Why hasn't Skynet taken over yet? He's playing *pulls sunglasses off*....THE LONG GAME!! (Piano low note slams)
but if they were rabid free marketers, they'd be calling for privatizing the police... maybe we're better off with the marxists in this instance.
And? You're gonna make me have to rip your teeth out with pliers to get you to connect her Marxism to Leninism, aren't you? Sorry "just because!", ain't gonna cut it. Marx and Lenin aren't synonyms. I know your right-wing propaganda pundits tell you so, but it's not like Palpatine, Darth Sideous, and Snoke all being the same guy.
What do you suggest? Everyone eye each other suspiciously at every rally? Everyone look behind their backs? No one trust each other? Yeah, successful social movements always work so well that way. Maybe you don't want the movement discredited, but your puppet-masters sure do. I keep telling you to stop listening to this shit until I'm blue in the face, but you're never gonna are ya? No matter how much their shit keeps being exposed as fascist bullshit, you just move right on to the next one.
Meh. I hate the masks. They aggravate my nasal allergies (nothing's quite as much fun as wiping your nose inside the mask and then throwing it away when you get home; I haven't sneezed outside the house yet, but that's inevitable), they fog my fuggin' glasses, regardless of the numerous experts on YouTube giving me advice, and they give me a rash. But (a) I'm trying to be a caring human being and (b) as much as Lubak et al. wish me dead, I will not give them the satisfaction.
It's about you, perhaps unwittingly or perhaps not, perpetuating fearmongering to distract people from the real issues.
@Federal Farmer, do us a favor: Don't become a @Marso-in-training. One of him is more than enough, thank you.
Fine. I admit it. I've been trying to educate people to wear masks because even if only you're wearing a mask, it reduces the possible transmission of COVID-19 (or any similar virus) from someone else by 30%-50%, and to someone else by up to 70%. That's a significant threat reduction on its own. Now get both people wearing masks, and that's about as close to 100% threat reduction (via breathable air) as you can get. Who wouldn't want those numbers? If it was a pill, people would be demanding them, but all it takes is some basic hand washing, and a cloth mask properly worn. So yes, the Marxist plot has been to keep people from dying. You've found us out. How terrible a burden we bear.
And Ayn Rand was on Social Security. That’s not stopped a number of people from embracing her ideals.
Yes, we all read your post. Have you read up on Marxism? Do you know what it's actually about? - no, not the American, right wing, red scare propaganda. But, the origins of Marxism? Here's a clue - it didn't start with Karl Marx.
Y'know who are losers? Fascists. I've read up on them though. Y'know who else are losers? People who think the Confederacy never ended. I read up on them too. Your attitude to acquiring knowledge is childish. This is why you get shit from people.
I am just amazed at the skip in logic that can get you from BLM or wearing masks to marxism. That is a huge sign of brain damage if you ask me.
Speaking of conspiracies that did happen, what about the one where it's historical fact Hoover had the FBI work to associate the civil rights movement with Communism? There are two sides of history you can be on. One is being on the side of the protesters, joining the fight for true equal rights, and it doesn't matter what any particular founder might think because the movement is far bigger than them. The other:
Yeah, it's like if black people want equality, clearly someone is playing the long game and pulling their strings, rather than black people having a good and valid reason (reasons!) to keep the movement going as it has. By claiming it's Marxists/Commies, or Russians, white people once again remove free will and free agency from black people and then treat them as if they lack the principle or need to do something for themselves created by themselves. It's insulting to black people. Now, are there communists in BLM? Sure! BLM is also a workers movement, it's a civil rights movement, and that will often include a heavy dose of socialism/communism. Angela Davis, former member of the Black Panthers, is a communist. Fred Hampton, a chairman of the Black Panthers, and founder of the Rainbow Coalition, was a socialist. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a socialist. Harry Haywood was a communist. Malcolm X was a communist. W.E.B. DuBois was a communist. Ralph Ellison was a communist. The labor movement, the social and economic movement that was tied into rights for black people from the early 1900s onward, that foundation was rooted in communism and socialism. Karl Marx (also Friedrich Engels and Peter Kropotkin) told these people, in his works, that their labor was being exploited, and that they had a right to the value of their work rather than having their labors enrich the person at the top while they suffered for crumbs. @Federal Farmer doesn't know any of this. It would behoove him to learn about it.
