If the guy Barnes is right that the portion of US population that responds to surveys is down from 50% to 2%, I'd say that 2% is a helluva small sample from which to extrapolate any useful predictors of behavior of the individuals.

I forget the exact jargon from statistics classes thirty years ago, but it strikes me that if you're missing 98% of a population you're not gaining any meaningful information from such a small subset, however large the "sample size."

I'd be happy if you could point me to a claim (or "evidence") that more than 2% of US population presently are willing to reply to polling firms as Barnes claims.

Apparently the True Believers don't understand that the audience is required to remain silent during these debates. If this guy does show up, I hope the cameras are on him to watch for secret signals.
