The guy was a heavy conservative in 2003, was Catholic and wrote an essay about creating the "final bomb" that led to him coming home to find the cops searching his room (this was only a few years after Columbine so people still took that shit seriously these days).

Knowing that there are tunnels under the Capitol doesn't take any prior or special knowledge. It and even the notion that members of Congress were taken there could be lucky guesswork.

That they were specifically 3 floors down and that to access the area one could go by a particular route, however does suggest some level of insider knowledge.

It could be a member of Congress's staff or a law enforcement person who conveyed that info, not just actual members of Congress. It could be relatives or friends of anybody taken to the location, after someone taken there told a loved one by text or phone "We're being mobbed but we're OK for now. We're in tunnels three floors underground."

I few years ago I reconnected on Facebook with my first girlfriend. Still looks great but, man, she is off the deep end with both Trumpism and religion (a Baptist-turned-Catholic, which brings out the worst of both of those ways of thinking).

I finally had to unfollow her.
